Adding more Level-Ups to K1

I want to make the limited 20 level ups to be increased to 25, 30, or just simply something higher. I used 2 2DA files to tell the computer that when you reach level 20, there is still more exp to be gained and another 2DA file to tell the computer to display the icon to level up. My problem is that when you do level up, the game will crash. What is going on?

As far as we know. the game is hardcoded to stop at level 20. Although you might be able to trick it into letting you level up.

Pikmin is right! All those endevours were doomed to fail in the past and ultimately led to the dark side of the force...

Trust me, it's not possible. I edited over 20 .2da files dealing with leveling up to no avail. I literally went through all the .2da files and added five extra levels to any pertaining to leveling. It just can't happen.

The closest I ever got to this was getting the XP needed thing to tick down...but once it got to 0, no level up. As others have said, it's not possible.

It's hard coded into the exe. Unless you want to illegally modify the exe. There is no way to bypass the 20 level limit.
