miro42
NEW! NEW! NEW! All right, everyone, I'm back with a super update! Mara Jade is now a playable PC in TSL, and she's much cooler than that old KOTOR mod I created below. This time around I set it up so you can choose whether to always have the Mara Jade outfit or only when you have underwear on (the character, not you ). Check out the pics and then download from my website or KOTORFiles! No long hair this time around. It just looked terrible. Also there are some clipping issues. OLD, OLD, OLD: Here's my second mod! With it you can choose Mara Jade as your playable character. Yay! Now with TSLPatcher and working DS transistions! Woot! Mara Jade 2.0 is now out! Man I haven't even seen this file in ages, but I think this is the correct one. Mara Jade for KOTOR Make sure you check out the readme! VERY IMPORTANT! (not so much now with the TSL Patcher) To try 2.0 before you buy...(aka pictures!) End of the OLD, OLD, OLD Moderators, is it possible to change the thread to read that it's a KOTOR/TSL mod in the heading instead of just a KOTOR mod? Hawkstrong16
That is great! To bad I never play FM. being a guy it feels kinda wierd... lol Would it be possible to use KSE to make Bastila look like that if I have it installed?
miro42
Great work micro. I just wish you would have used the TSL Patcher. Oh, I wish I would too. However, when I try and use it something always goes horribly wrong. The readme file is just about useless to noobs like myself (or I just don't know how to read) and I haven't been able to find a well written tutorial on how to use it anywhere else, so override is my only resort. But if you know of a tut that covers everything please send it along. Oh and if you know how to use it and have the time to throw my mod into it that'd be great. If you send to me you'd be sure to have your name in my readme as the TSL Patcher Guru! That is great! To bad I never play FM. being a guy it feels kinda wierd... lol Would it be possible to use KSE to make Bastila look like that if I have it installed? I'm still a noob to the modding community but I don't think it would work. The files I used to create her head were from the player models which to my knowledge have no lipsync capabilites. When I get time I'll look into it or if you find out let me know.

To bad I never play FM. being a guy it feels kinda wierd... lol Would it be possible to use KSE to make Bastila look like that if I have it installed? Enter KSE, look for your savegame nº, then follow branch to NPC-Bastila-Appearance, clic on the right box and choose P_FEM_MJ_SML_01 or so. Clic on Change appearance button. Do the same with her portrait, Portrait field, look for Mara's file. When you are done with both editions, clic in apply changes (saves changes). Adding that, you will have to edit her full body portrait (po_pbastila3.tpc) to fix all the portraits. that's it for Bastila as Mara Jade ... Don't do this if you already have Mara as PC unless you want twin sisters

Ferc Kast
Yay! Mara Jade playable character! Looks just like her! Give or take the hair, it could pass off as her.
miro42
Give or take the hair, it could pass off as her. Yeah, I'm not too pleased with the hair given in the KOTOR games. But I did what I could as far as tweaking it goes. I want to give her longer hair but it looks horrible if I just extended the vertices, not only the model, but the texture as well. Oh well, maybe I'll figure something else out someday.
Quatra
Could you plz change the website? cuz i hate megaupload and the uncomprehensible letters for the free download. Can you upload it to rapidshare or somewhere else? It took me 15 tries to get an image that i could "see" good job on the model FYI these kinds of posts are no longer allowed here, talking about mod hosting is off-topic and is considered spam, please take this to PM's or if the modder isn't around anymore go to the appropriate thread indicated in the stuck FAQ thread. -RH

GlowingFauxPas
looks very nice but I wasn't able to get the darkside transitions to work. Is the problem on my end or are other people also having this problem? also, a request: can I have a version of the character portraits without the emperor in them? GeorgNihilus
About #21 There are missing zeros I believe in the zip in many files, like pfhmj1d.tga. Rename pfhmj1.tga to pfhmj01.tga, pfhmj1d.tga to pfhmj01d.tga and so on with the rest of the darkside transitions. They are correctly named in the Readme. hope that helps bye ... GlowingFauxPas
Thanks - that helped for the changes to the face. The bodysuit, however, still doesnt change according to alignment. Actually, the body doesnt change if I put on armor either- maybe I did something wrong in installing it, or is that part of the mod design? You are right there's another problem in file pfbmj01d.tga, rename it to PFBMJD01.tga instead. That's another mistake of the zip. And the way it looks in the appearance.2da file, if you didn't edit it, all the armors-robes will look the same for you, like the blue underwear. You must edit through KotorTool if you want the armors to show properly. bye good luck
GlowingFauxPas
Thanks for the help. Which column do I not edit if I want the armor to appear but the no-armor appearance to stay the new one, but the rest of the appearances to be the default game models and textures?
