That one quest on Nar Shadda....

When I play through TSL I always do this quest where a bith is hearing something and you need to go pick up a part for him. When you get to the spot you are attacked by a droid and you find the supplier you where suppose to meet dead. When you get back to the Bith, he is dead and there is only an arm left. Whats the point? Is there another part? Is is cut content?

It's not cut, at least I don't think so.

It's just the resolution of the story. You have more important things to deal with than a dead Bith.

I was going to ask that too. That's a reason why you read data pads as they give you information. Notice that the journal entry becomes a completed quest. That means you're done.

Personally, a rather unsatisfying end for a quest with potential, if I do say so myself.

Additional Information

 

To get at G0-T0's backstory can be quite tricky, so here is a step by step description:

 

It is possible to gain enough Influence with G0-T0 via dialogs to unlock the complete backstory without ever having him/it in your party. This will net you DS points, though.

 

First ask about G0-T0's abilities, then complement them for easy Influence.

 

Then ask about saving the Republic, but make sure you ask for a reward *and* credits, this will impress G0-T0 for more Influence and DS points.

 

If you go all Jedi on G0-T0 he will not like it ("compassion corrodes"), you will get LS points, but loose Influence (bad!), and you can no longer get all of G0-T0's backstory in this session.

 

Talk about the Operations on Nar Shaddaa, and that these are carried out by droids, and list every suspicious droid business you have come accross on Nar Shaddaa: hijacking of Vogga's freighters, the droid Pazaak player, the droid Swoop racer, and the Bith scientist ("Experiment in Delivery" Quest). You can talk about all these with G0-T0.

 

Then ask about Vogga. Quit conversation, collect LS points, 1000 XP and Influence.

 

Finally, talk about the Operations on Nar Shaddaa again, and tell him you believe that he is a droid. He will never admit *that*, but he will admit that he is the AI mastermind behind the economic restructuring of the Republic after the civil war. Gain 2000 XP and LS points.

 

Note: This last conversation can be tricky, so be sure to touch the following topics, to fully unfold G0-T0's backstory: "... you are a droid.", "... operations ... they were efficient, ...", "... droid intelligence ... lost."
