Taak Farst
With the news that decisions from mass effect 1 carry on to mass effect 2 and i had no save - i played a save game - but at first I could not run it - it was scratched to hell. Suppose you have a DVD/Game/CD you wanna use but physically can't! Easy method of removing scratches that takes 3 mins. 1) Take a small dollop of toothpaste (yes I know it sounds ridiculous, but it works) and put it on the disc (the blank side ofc) 2) Wipe it all round the blank side of the disc until it is fully covered. 3) Wash the toothpaste off and dry with a cloth You will find that your disc is a lot cleaner and has less scratches. My Mass Effect went down to just 1 scratch on the side but it runs perfect now. Did it work for you? Say on this thread.
Astor
I'd much rather stick to real disc cleaning methods, instead of trying something like this. I'm not saying I doubt that you go your disc to work again, but this sounds like it has even more potential of ruining a disc.
jrrtoken
Ingredients -8 Ibs. salt -3 Ibs. sugar -2 oz. sodium nitrate -1/2 oz. sodium nitrite Take your choice cut, and baste it with a mixture of the ingredients above. Keep store in a room no higher than 40F, applying a new mixture of the cure every seven days. After five weeks, the disc is perfectly cured, and is ready for appropriate preparation. This is what you wanted, right? How to cure discs?
