kenobi13
Hi, Ive edited an m12aa.git file. I've put it in Override directory. But now every time I enter Ebon hawk I have an gray map and when I want to Fly to anoter planet I get an diaog about leaving Dantooine. When I was catched by Leviathan I was unable to talk to my crew about who will rescue us. I've deteted my edited git file, and it worked.
Queen of Night
Then you have a mistake in your git-file. Open your git-file and search for the mistake, sometimes include the utc or one of the other Files charge. Then when you found the mistake have a new try. R2-X2
Editing a .git file and putting it into the override never works. You'll have to do the changes via script.

GeorgNihilus
I've never seen git files in Override folder you should pack it back after edition to where you extracted it from (the modules folder rim file), using the ERF editor for example. backup first the original rim of course before repacking. What did you edit?
kenobi13
Ok, now I can't get out of Ebon Hawk.
Demongo
First, if you want to edit a module, see Marius Fett's tutorial here. If you only edit the git file it may cause some problems. You must compile all necessary module files to a .mod file. Read the tutorial carefully:)
glovemaster
You might want to make sure you are using K-GFF. If you have been using Bioware's GFF Editor it has been known to corrupt some GFF files for KotOR.
kenobi13
But why I can't go out and use galaxy map? Also, when I'l go in the Ebon Hawk my crew is behind me, not in their places on Ebon Hawk.

As I said, it can cause a problem if you don't create a .mod file, just edit the .git file. Read the tutorial carefully, if you want to create/modify modules.
