NOTE.- (This Story borrows elements from a famous anime called Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, but in order to expand on the story further I have simply taken some of the elements and transformed it into a unique original story. Many things in this RP will have no relation to said anime because I want every participant to create their own spells and use their imagination too not just adhere to the existing elements of that anime. If you want to participate and don't know the anime, it's fine, but if you can look it up, specially the Third season called StrikerS, then you'll get an idea of what I'm aiming for.)

 

Dimensions, through time and space the Federation of Time and Space Security has watched over for the safety of the Multiverse. Magical forces of the FTSS have kept balance for over a hundred years. Now this balance is threatened.

 

Strike Force 10 has been decimated. Not a single unit member survived.

 

Their mission was clear. The Extraction and Safety of Federation officials from the Planet Sigmunde in Multiverse Sigma. The unit was decimated by a rogue group of Mages. However due to their efforts all Federation Officials were saved and extracted.

 

The Elite Division Nine has been assigned to the case. There are also reports of ancient artifacts resonating in multiple areas of the multiverse.

 

The Purpose of Division Nine is simple, to locate, secure and protect ancient magical artifacts and also to prevent the use of these artifacts through team effort.

 

You are now a cadet of the Elite Division Nine. Your Magical power is beyond that of an ordinary Mage, and your aptitude tests are off the charts, this is the reason why you were hand picked by the Division. The division is led by Commander Terra Carrington, with Captains Illya Terranova and Juno Aika.

 

You are now part of Forward Team Cobalt. You have recieved a Magical device during your basic training. This device when in standby mode can take the shape of anything, be it a jewel, card, book, headband, or basic jewelry. When activated in combat, the device will take the form of the weapon that the user gave it when he first activated it be it a gun, staff, sword, etc. The device also provides the user with a magical armor, the user when first activating it has to picture his armor very clearly in his mind, these armors go from light fabrics like dresses to knight armors, even though dresses or suits may look not as tough as an armor they have the same resistance as a fortified suit of armor, the only aspect that changes is the physical look as it adjusts to the user's preference in clothing.

 

The devices also have power limits depending on the user's rank or mage standing. The maximum mage rank attainable is SS which is pretty much unleashed and it's reserved to the Federation's highest officials and it needs permission to be activated. The highest normal mage rank that can be achieved is S. All cadets are B rank mages and upon their graduation they become A rank. The highest Mage rank attainable for Middle Rank Officers is AA.

 

When into the Division, you are expected to work as a team. There are several positions in a team, mostly consisting of four. The Two Close Quarters Specialists, The Mid-Ranged Combat Specialist and the Support Magic Specialist.

 

All cadets are broken into teams of four. Right now Division Nine has recruited only a handful of trainees. You, are one of them.

-No Godmodding

-No taking huge plot decisions without consulting me first.

-No offensive language except if it is in character.

-No one liner posts, try to detail your characters actions even if he doesn't have much to say, remember that body movements, and emotions can be conveyed through words.

-There will only be one character for person unless I state otherwise.

Special Attacks: (These are the signature magic spells of your character performed with the device's help. Just so you know, your device is alive in a way, it can communicate with you in some degree, it can understand your words though it may not always reply, think of it as a program. After you call your special move's name, your device will say something around the sort of: "Insert special attack name, stand by" as it readies the attack and then fires)

Biography: (Explain where you come from, what planet were you born. If you were born on Earth state that you come from Unregulated Planet #97)

Using severe amounts of magical power cause great stress in one's body so make sure your characters don't overdo it too much otherwise they will have to suffer a bit.

 

Every mage has a linker core inside of him, it's what allows him/her to use magic. Whenever you hear this term you will know about it.

Biography: Born on Unregulated Planet #97, Shana is a japanese girl with little background as a mage. Due to an incident with a former Strike Force member she was granted the device Queen's Heart which she used to protect herself and the officer out of instinct. She was recruited into the Federation at age 10 and has been with the Task Force ever since. Due to her service record and high marks on tests she was hand picked by Captain Terranova to serve under her squad. She's been under training regime for the past 2 months.

Well, this looks like fun, I haven't much experience in this type of RP, so bear with me, I'll get the hang of it:D Here's the character:D

 

 

 

Name: Akira Takahata

Appearance: {Sorry, I don't have any pics:( } Akira usually wears standard gray military coveralls. He is always prepared, as he always wears his black utility belt, which is equipped with numerous weapons, a small amount of ammunition, a small first-aid kit, and a supply ration. He wears standard black combat boots, with a small knife tucked onto the side of his right boot. He wears a gray military cap which is often doffed to the side. He has jet-black hair, brown eyes, and is 6 foot in height. Akira has sharp facial features, and small scar that runs close to his right eye.

 

Device Name: New Dawn, the main piece on top is built in the image of a black colored eagle.

 

Speciality: Close-quarters combat

He can advance these attacks by going into his form, Omega.

Biography: Akira was born on Unregulated Planet 97# to a military family in Japan's quadrant of the planet. At the age of 9, in order to please his militaristic and rigid father, he made it into a Federation Military Academy. He proved extremeley adept in nearly all of his classes, but do to a tough early life, his social ability was less then average, often getting into fights or being shunned by his fellow classmates. From there, he formed a cold state-of-mind, caring little for others, which nearly ended his career after a training incident at age 14. He still maintains that state-of-mind, but tries his best to change it, trying to get to know his fellow comrades-in-arms. For the past 3 years, that has not been met successfully...yet. He still maintained his status as Elite, and is currently undergoing advanced training under a tough as nails soldier named Sergeant Yamamoto. His training is near complete, and Akira hopes for a transfer to one of the Federations Elite units.

- Blade Surge (When Device is activated, Krimson's Sword becomes infused with Dark Psi energy, enhancing its stregth and speed)

- Body Surge (Much like Blade Surge, except inflaming Krimson's entire body with Dark Psi Energy. Increases Strength and Speed, but it has its limits: he can only use it once during battle)

- Malakahn (A concentrated beam of dark Psionic Energy, unleashed from Krimson's hands)

- Form: Fenrir

(in Fenrir form)

- Energy Drain

- Dark Wave

- Rising Phoenix (When Krimson plants his palm to the ground, energy-based projectiles fire from beneath the soil in the battle field)

- Malakahn Nova (An extremely powerful version of the original Malakahn attack. He can only use it once in battle, and after he does, reverts back to his normal form)

 

Biography: Wolf Krimson origninated from the war-torn planet Sol, from which most of his blood relatives were killed. After his planet was destroyed, he was recruited by FTSS and served three years of cadetship. For unknown reasons, he resigned and worked as a Mercenary - keeping the Device he has been given to aid him during missions. Having been recently assigned on a mission to the Sigma system. Due to engine failure, he and his crew have now crash landed on the Planet Sigmunde. He is the remaining suvivor of the entire crew - save for the Maitenance HoverBot "Loey".

Device Name: Dark Guardian, a black Crescant moon shaped pendant that is chained to his wrist

Specialty: Close Quarters/Mid-range

 

Special Attacks:

Sword Empower: Empowers his sword with dark energy.

Sword Enhance: Kai is able to make his sword much lighter and is thus able to pull off much more complicated attacks with it.

Dark Aura: Kai infuses his body with dark energy that allows him to move much faster and jump much higher then usual. This attack is usually used in conjunction with his Sword enhance ability.

Shadow Sword Slice: Kai gathers energy into his sword and then swings it rapidly to release the energy onto an attacker.

Infinity shot. (Not learned yet.) Kai's sword shifts into a cannon with two handles on it that can fire a rapid amount of magical energy at a target in a short amount of time.

 

 

Form: Berserker

 

Dark Lightning: Brings down a torrent of black lightning down on a group of attackers

Rememberance of Hizuni. (Not learned yet.) Kai's pendant turns into a large cannon that fires a massive burst of magical energy at a target. However, if Kai is low on magic it takes a small portion of his life force and his remaining magic to fire it.

Final Explosion: Kai takes himself, and everything within a hundred feet of him out with him in a powerful suicide attack.

Dark Cannon (Not even close to being learned yet.) After watching Shana's destiny cannon in action Kai is now attempting to find a way to create a similar attack only much more powerful.

 

Biography: Kai was born on a small planet known as Unregulated Planet number 72. Eight years after he was born, his planet came under attack by an unknown species and all the colonists were killed in the battle with the exception of Kai who lived alone there for nine years.

 

Kai was recruted by the Federation after they sent someone to check the planet for survivors and was assigned to Elite Division 9.

 

Kai doesn't show much emotion and rarely smiles.

 

In his Berserker form he can shrug off small power attacks and is much faster, however, the injuries still remain after he drops out of Berserker form and then they begin to take their toll on him. When in Berserker form, his eyes turn a dark red and his hair drops down to his waist.

 

Short term history: Before embarking on the transport Kai used his Berserker form in a training duel and as a result lost control and destroyed the training area. The remains of his Berserker form have not left his system yet and as a result he is very quick to attack or to fight back if attacked, his eyes also randomly flash red for a short while after use of Berserker form.

Device name: Kageyume, a small neckless he wears around his neck, just a strand of string with some beads and a small 'x' shape on it.

Specialty: Close quarters

Yoru (person he hits falls asleep)

Kage (Person becomes blind, for a while or permanently)

Tsubasa ( He increases his speak for a bit)

Shinjitsu ( A torture technique)

Form: Samurai

Final Strike ( A quick move, generally takes down weaker opponents)

Honor in Death ( Before Tasa would die, he gains the ability to send his weapon out and kill as many foes as possible)

Biography: Tasagara grew up in a backwater planet, the only son of a drunkerd father and a naive mother. He tried to disproved the numbers, which said he'd be a druggy and a gangsterm but failed. By the time he was 18, he had a record and was waiting for teh end of his sentence to kick in. One day, a military general came in, he told him that he could get out, now, if he joined with a group of soldiers. Heck, Tasa knew how to kill, it would be easy. Or so he thought.

Oooh, quick question!

 

I'm thinking of modifying my character profile to "suit" his person. Does he HAVE to be a cadet for the Federation? Cause I was thinking about making him a War Veteran who used to work under the Fed. Can I do that? It wont change any part of the plot, promise!

All Forward unit members are cadets yes. The best of the cadets. A war veteran being there and having to follow orders from the team captain which is my character wouldn't be very pleased, and also being a war veteran he'd have to be a higher ranking officer which in turn wouldn't work because he'd be with newbies. He'd have to be higher in the Division and not a forward. And the only members of the Unit who are higher are both Captains and the Commander.
