Darth Cryptic Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Had a very random thought: Wookies are known for ripping off arms and beating people with them. Could someone use the severed arm included in both games to make a weapon for Hanhar?
Trench Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 You've got a sick twisted mind Darth Cryptic. That would be really cool! If I knew the model name of the severed arm I could make that in about fifteen minutes.
VarsityPuppet Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 That would be hilarious! Beating people with a severed arm.... heh heh heh
Sir Vougalot Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Reminds me of that lame joke liberals like to make when scoffing at the Second Amendment: "We have the right to bear arms... and the right to arm bears! Har har!" In this case it's the right to arm Wookiees. Anyway, this would indeed be hilarious to see! I don't normally download mods like this, but I think I'd give this one a go just for giggles.
TriggerGod Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Seems like a simple enough matter. I'll look for the arm model tonight, and work on getting it exported. I will need someone to make uti files for the K1 version.
Trench Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I can do the .uti files as well as convert it to K2 if needed.
R2-X2 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 As I know, the severed arm as a datapad in his hand…you'd have to delee it fom the model.
Trench Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 That wouldn't be a problem. Those vertices are pretty easy to remove.
Trench Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 classic, it should be a czerka arm :lol:Good idea! If someone sent me the .TGA once the rest was finished, I could give it the Czerka colors.
jedi7000nathan Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 :lol:Good idea! If someone sent me the .TGA once the rest was finished' date=' I could give it the Czerka colors.[/quote'] thanks
TriggerGod Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 That wouldn't be a problem. Those vertices are pretty easy to remove. They are a part of a completely different object, so it is very easy to do. The bad part is... Parts of the model were deleted (as it was meant to be lying on the floor) to save polys. Looks like this mod will take a little longer to take, as I try to recreate some of those polys. Or, I could take the (kinda) lazy road and try to re-create it using another model's arm.
Trench Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Whoever is modeling them might also consider making two versions. One where you hold the arm at the base, close to the shoulder, and another where you hold it at the wrist.
