PREDKZL Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 going to be purchasing on the pc as i hear it runs smoother. having trouble finding part 1 i was able to locate 2 at best buy. what do you think hold out for 1 till i find it or is 2 worth getting anyway?
Te Je'karta Mand'alor Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 personaly, i like II best. bt 1 has less glitches
Gurges-Ahter Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 K1 is a must. Most people prefer 1, although I love both. K1 is available at best buy thru the Best of Star Wars PC - that's where I got mine. It was like $35 and it came with 5 games, including K1.
purifier Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Another way to find a copy of K1 is to go online to websites like Amazon or E-Bay. I know that I've seen brand new copies of K1 at those sites not too long ago. Of course you might have to wait a couple weeks before it's delivered to you, although it depends upon the amount you want to pay for shipping to reduce the delivery date, but I'll bet you'll find a K1 at a reasonable price on those websites. Anyway, just another suggestion.
Gurges-Ahter Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Also - something to consider - both K1 and K2 have issues with Windows Vista. It can work, but it's a pain. If you're running XP you're good to go.
Lord of Hunger Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 I'd wait a little bit to get K1 so TSL makes sense and also probably by the time you finish K1 the TSLRCM will be finished so TSL will be less buggy and more complete the first time around. In terms of which game is better? K1 if you just like a fun quest, while TSL if you want depth. Both are great, but I generally prefer TSL. It actually feels like a bigger game. However, there are a lot more decent mods for KOTOR like DarthJaden's reskins, BOSSR, and WOTOR.
Sven_Q45 Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 KOTOR 1 is the best non adventuregame from LucasArts. KOTOR 2 is "dark". I like it too. But SWKOTOR 1 is better.
