Jae Onasi
Rogue Nine had a family emergency and hasn't been available to edit the podcast. Tobias has been put to work as assistant engineer, and I'm helping out. I can tell you that it's much, much harder and much more work than it appears. I've been learning the sound editor program, Audacity, as I go along. The learning curve is quite steep unless you have experience in editing sound already, and it's taken me all day just to edit about 30 minutes' worth of the podcast. I'm hoping Rogue Nine comes back online soon so he can rescue the podcast and/or me! In any case, the podcast will be delayed while I flounder around the program, so please bear with us. Thanks! Jae Onasi
I did find a Star Trek Bridge sound, a gong, a nuke, and assorted other interesting features to add some time.
Jae Onasi
OK, after many, many, many hours of work, more than I ever anticipated, and with Tobias' help, I got this puppy edited. It took me about 87 hours, mostly learning how to run Audacity. It's not exactly an intuitive program if you've never done any sound editing before. I'm just waiting for one clip to link the blooper reel to the main podcast, and we should have it up for you within the next day or so. Thanks for your patience.
