DarthJacen
Unmodified, unupdated TSL starts the intro videos before the start up screen, then gets to the startup screen before going black with a mouse, then crashing. I removed all mods and have not updated it to see if it was me or the game. Since, there are no mods. The game has no conceivable reason why it should be crashing. Queen of Night
Have you made the game compatible? With left click on the small Icon of the game, qualities and then to kompatibelität go. There put with Windows 2000 as well as screen size 640 x 480 should go. Then take over click and then OK. Now try it whether it works.
DarthJacen
If you're referring to the configurations, yes, I have. I'm not certain of what you mean with compatible. My hardware and software are both fully compatible with the game requirements. The games installs the way it should, and opens properly. But, after the introductory movies, the screen goes blank, sometimes with music in the background, and then an error message pops up saying. "Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords has encountered a problem and needs to close. If you were in the middle of doing something, all of your work will be lost." Queen of Night
This error message if I have a mod somewhere something blocks, so once you look at your mods and delete blocks of possibly your game. Otherwise, I can only recommend what I have written above, because if you adjust your game as I have written so it can work for me because it works that way. Q
Please post your specs using the game's configuration utility: Post your system specs Sometimes we're just not going to be able to help you if we don't know what kind of hardware you have on your machine. If you don't know what you have on your machine, then follow these steps below: Bring up the launcher menu for Kotor 1 or 2. Click on "Configure". Click the "Scan Hardware" button on the lower center of the window. Click "Yes" to continue. Click "Details" to view your system specs. Click "Save Report" and save the file to your desktop. Whenever you post your problem, open the file you just saved and copy and paste the contents to your post. Also, please specify which version of Windows you're using, because the game can't recognize anything newer than XP.
DarthJacen
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. My specs are in the spoiler message. I didn't want to spam the forum with that, so I made it a drop down file.
Q
I'd rather have you use the game's config utility. It can tell me things that EaW's can't.
