Mav
I didn't know that one could be a "professional" shoplifter, I must look into a career change...
mimartin
I use to work in a drug store in a mall, cosmetics were our number one stolen item. Baby formula was way down the list, however anti-baby formula was number #2.
Darth Avlectus
Uhh...small convenience items at Wal-Mart? Honda cars? MP3+ players? Laptops? Small hand tools? Sodas? Beer? Hell, at a coin factory with an entrance down some alleyways and removed from the roads a bit we'd get arseholes all the time trying to stick us up. Thing is, we'd do something different rather than get all shocked... One worker was this behemoth immigrant from Poland. Think about 6'4" ~300 lbs. Was his idea. Friendliest guy you'd ever want to meet--or so you'd think if you were doing something bad. "You want coins buddy? Sure." We'd give the robber a box and filled it with coins...they NEVER thought about how HEAVY that was or figured it out why we were being so generous. They'd *try* (try being the operative word) to run down the winding alleyways with it. Then he'd grab his big yellow sock full of coins about 10 seconds after they left with their hands full. Suddenly... <SMACK!> They fell for it every time, too. Same cop would come up and arrest the robber. He'd get a call and arrive all like "hoo boy, another idiot tried to rob the coin factory on 7th and Bronner ...Again." Gee, I wonder why the management didn't pay much for security?
