alazanski
I love the original Grim Fandango. I've heard a lot of different stories about there being a new Grim Fandango in development... Now, is that true, will there ever be a new episode of Grim Fandango?

Baja
Very very very very unlikely. It just wouldn't be the same anyhow.
the late D. Hurley
perhaps if Mr. Schafer would just make everything HD graphics. You know, dont recreate it, just....refresh it. I'd buy that, even for 50 bucks
Thrik
Incredibly unlikely, but there is the distant possibility LucasArts will continue with their re-releases of old games and give Grim Fandango a new coat of paint, or at the very least optimise it for newer systems. DJB
It looks like the special editions of Monkey Island have been doing well and are pretty well done to. Being able to switch between classic and the HD remake on the fly is a nice feature. Grim Fandango 2 I think is out of the question (do you really want a perfect story messed with anyways?), but a re-release on Steam or GOG with just slight update/patch to make it more compatible on a modern O/S is very possible. While this is my favorite of all the lucasarts adventure games (and games in general), I think next on the list for special edition remake would be DOTT or Full Throttle. Sam & Max Hit the road would be nice to see remade, but I'm sure there is some legal stuff with that one to be worked out first between Lucasarts and telltale games.
