News
A lot of videos have gone out for The Old Republic since E3 started, and like our preview roundup, we’d like to have them all in one convenient spot for your viewing pleasure. Included are both gameplay videos and interviews. Some of the gameplay footage is off-camera, but still watchable. Feel free to post any [...] Read the full story at starwarsmmo.net... Miltiades
On the Trooper videos: I really enjoyed the scenery. It all looks very slick judging from that particular gameplay video. To me, there's something weird with the music, though. The bombastic sound that reminded me of Taris (and which sound eerily similar to Guild Wars' Kryta theme) is that typical KotOR sound that makes me all fuzzy inside. But then we get the more John Williams-style sound, which is great in its own right, but really doesn't fit with the other music, in my opinion. Especially since its directly copied from the prequels. Anyway, does anyone else find the Trooper a little clumsy? I would at least expect automatic fire, those empty seconds when the Trooper needs a target and use a skill to even attack that target are deadly. But it seems to be the case for all classes. I don't know, is that normal in MMO's?

Well, that'll take some getting used to. DDO does the same thing. I rather like it as it's at least more user-involved than staring at a row of countdown timers. Though.. it's still just clicking a mouse button a BUNCH of times, so take it with a grain of salt. No offense or dissing intended to the other MMO's & players out there
Tommycat
That's one way to get rid of the autolevelers...

ChAiNz.2da
Hotkeys, my dear friend! in DDO, you have to click the (mouse) button just to swing your weapon. One click = one swing or hold down the key. The only hotkey for that is left-click.. or pressing your hotkey a BUNCH of times Guess I could create a macro to define a keypress hold.. but it's really more trouble than it's worth.. hehe. Even the Razer and Logitech keyboard owners don't bother with it on DDO
