Jeff Haas Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I've been cleaning out my garage and found a box of old games. Instead of recycling them, I thought someone here might want original copies of... Full Throttle Monkey Island 2 Curse of Monkey Island Day of the Tentacle Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Plus a "Monkey Island Sampler" with MI1 and other stuff on the CD These have the original floppy disks or CDs, original docs (including a code wheel in one!) and there's an original LucasArts newspaper announcing some game called "The Dig". These have literally been in a box, out of sunlight, for YEARS. So the colors are still very bright. Most of the boxes are in very good shape; one of the ones with the end that opens (instead of the top that comes off) is a bit crushed, but otherwise they're great. I'm running out of space and these are too good to just heartlessly toss. But I've hit a point that I can't save all my old stuff, even from my second or third childhood. There's more cool crap to buy out there! I checked ebay and there are prices all over the place for these. So I figured someone here would like them. Reply if you're interested (I've subscribed to this thread so the board will email me) and we'll work something reasonable out. Jeff Ranger, 3-Headed Monkey Conservation Corps
Alexandra IDV Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Never heard of this "Monkey Island Sampler", and google gives me nothing. Mind uploading a photo of it?
Jeff Haas Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 Sorry, I used the wrong name, it's "Monkey Island Madness." See these links: http://www.amazon.com/Monkey-Island-Madness-Secret-LeChucks/dp/B000AAXCPA http://www.mobygames.com/game/monkey-island-madness
Jeff Haas Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 I found a few more things... Indiana Jones and his Desktop Adventures Loom (no box, but the Book of Patterns) Demo disk with Dark Forces, Full Throttle and Rebel Assault - brought to you by Chrysler
Aububuh Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 How much are you selling Loom and DOTT for? I think those are the only two Lucas adventures I don't have.
Jeff Haas Posted April 26, 2012 Author Posted April 26, 2012 How much are you selling Loom and DOTT for? I think those are the only two Lucas adventures I don't have. How about $15.00 for both? Plus some shipping.
Jeff Haas Posted April 27, 2012 Author Posted April 27, 2012 Due to a request, I posted pictures of Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle boxes here: http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/dd223/Jeff_Haas/LucasArts%20game%20boxes/
Jeff Haas Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 No one? Ok, then I guess it's off to ebay in a few days.
Overmann-418 Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 How much for Full Throttle & the Monkey Island games? And does Monkey Island Madness come in a box? What would shipping be to the southeast coast?
Aububuh Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 How about $15.00 for both? Plus some shipping. Sorry for the late reply. Anyway, I didn't realize that DOTT was the floppy edition. I'm holding out for the talkie. I'd still like Loom, though.
Jeff Haas Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 I've uploaded pictures of the others to my Photobucket album: http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/dd223/Jeff_Haas/LucasArts%20game%20boxes/
Jeff Haas Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 Aububuh, You can still have LOOM. How about ten bucks, shipped? It's flat. (Because there's no box...not because it's can't carry a tune. Ha ha ha!) Overmann, Monkey Island Madness didn't come in a box, I got it in the US. There are a few box images out there but they seem to be from Europe and Australia. How about $20.00 for all four (Full Throttle, MI2, Curse of Monkey Island, MI Madness) plus shipping, which I'll have to figure out. And that means going to the POST OFFICE! Aieeee! Help me, Indy! Jeff
Snugglecakes Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 If only you had a boxed Zak McKracken... *sigh* ... My dark side feels obligated at this point to say... I HAVE TWO! My dark side apologises.
