CikMatt
Disney Shuts Down LucasArts I'm actually sadder about this than I would have expected. Clearly our LucasArts has been gone for awhile but now that its finally happened I suppose the injustice of all these past years has finally hit home. Gownaar
Manny and Glottis get to keep their dignity and rest in peace. Their remains will not be violated by Mickey Mouse. Luke and Han weren't that lucky.

urluckyday
Now let's hope they'll license somebody to get Grim Fandango onto Steam... Haha nah just kidding, that would be the cool thing to do, so there's no chance.
CikMatt
I think we'll see it on Steam or GoG or a similar service eventually. It'll just be a matter of who does it and when and hopefully they'll do it justice by making it compatible with today's systems. I do think, however, that this is the end for any classic LucasArts properties ever getting any sequels. Disney's so huge with so many IPs that they don't even use that it'll never be a blip on the radar.
MeddlingMonk
Well, Residual is already working on making GF work with current OSes, and it works pretty well already.
Ronny
Is this a good thing or a bad thing for the prospects of a new Grim Fandango game? You notice - I do not say 'sequel' but rather a new game in the same universe.
CikMatt
Well, Residual is already working on making GF work with current OSes, and it works pretty well already. Yes, it does work okay. I suppose I'd simply like to be able to gift the game to people over Steam without the hassle of copying discs and installing third party software. And Ronny I don't think we'll ever see anything in the franchise again. I think we fans as a potential financially exploitable audience is just too small. MeddlingMonk
Come to that, I'd like all of the old LucasArts adventure games to be available. Preferably on GOG.
Alexrd
Come to that, I'd like all of the old LucasArts adventure games to be available. Preferably on GOG. The whole PC catalogue of LucasArts.
