DrMcCoy
Hmm, you know, back to the topic: we've been ignoring the most important question of all! What colour should the shed be painted?!?
Artisa
Oooh, why should it be any one colour when it can be MONKEY ISLAND THEMED?
Huz
All colours.

Zoom Rabbit
No color at all. Not black, or unpainted...but literally the color of nothing.
RoyTordesLegend
Green all the way.
Huz
You should rebuild it using non-Euclidean geometry and paint it an unknowable colour.
Zoom Rabbit
Yes, to Huz you must listen. Ordinary humans should be so confounded by the shed's nature that they go into a startled state of denial on first sight. Lifelike 25th century art droids should guard the entrance, with Ganymede orchids growing on the ceiling. There will be intelligent monkeys in plastic zoot suits playing ragtime jazz. Absinthe should be on hand to help one adjust. Where is the unicorn hitching post? I don't have a unicorn. My pterodactyl is hungry.
DrMcCoy
Huz, how about you put some 100,000€ into this crowdfunding campaign: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-dreamlands Otherwise, this looks like it'll fail.

mimartin
Whatever happened to those pictures? The bodies under the floorboards have started smelling and Roy can't get close enough to take photos without puking. I told you 6 feet deep and lime. RoyTordesLegend
Lol, completely forgot that I hadn't posted anything up to be honest. Four kids, multiple jobs, trying to fix up a house, build a big art shed etc, it'll do this to you lol. Progress as of yesterday.
RoyTordesLegend
Note it isn't clad yet, and isn't painted, so it looks a bit rough and ready.
Zoom Rabbit
So when is the art shed warming party? Looks good. Are you going to plant ivy around it? That plus a bronze sun dial and you'll be ready to roll.

RoyTordesLegend
WOW you work fast Roy! And I totally thought it was painted lol Looks like you're just about done! Lol, it's not painted, that green stuff is just timber preserve to stop the 'shell' turning to weetabix. It'll be clad in this stuff:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiplap, and painted a proper rich dark green. and all the window/door frames will be sanded, primed and painted dark brown like the doors. I made the window frames myself btw, the double glazed glass panels (all six of them) were £18 (£3 each) from a local reclamation yard.

RoyTordesLegend
Clearly he can do anything! Like Bob the Builder! Yesterday I was hammering out a ridiculously large dent on the missus Nissan Micra, skimming it with filler and priming it ready for spray paint. I shall be spraying the entire side of the car next week, and buffing the rest of the paint to match. Don't worry, it's an age thing, you seem to pick up 'dad skills' which is why everyones dad seems to know how to do everything. For the record, I don't think I can afford the cladding for the shed/studio until next month now, as I'm in overdraft city a week before payday, but we shall see.
