Darth InSidious
Ten years ago this Christmas, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords came out. And so it gives us great pleasure to announce, in celebration of this event, the :elephant: TSL MOD OF THE DECADE COMPETITON :elephant: As with the Mod of the Year This is your chance to nomination one mod as the KotOR II mod of the last 10 years, and therefore the greatest KotOR II mod ever made! Remember: you can nomination any one mod made for TSL and released here at TUCE. If it's too daunting to plow through all the release threads of the last ten years, or you can't decide, then you can always try refreshing your memory of previous winners on the Community Awards page at SWK. This includes Mod of the Year top 10s from 2007, 2006, and 2005, the SWK staff top 10 from 2005, as well as our Featured Mods for TSL. And if that's not enough memory-jogging for you, there's also this thread full of recommended mods in Holowan, too! Once polls have closed, one mod will be crowned as SWK's TSL Mod of the Decade, and nine runners up will be listed on StarWarsKnights.com. Nominations will close on 31/12/2014, so get nominating! As with Mod of the Year please provide a link to the release thread where possible, and try to keep the chatter in this thread to a minimum. May the best mod win! Canderis
http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=210437 I guess I'll be the one to nominate the obvious: TSLRCM!
DarthParametric
I assume we can just cut to the chase and announce TSLRCM as the winner now.
Phildevil
Yeah, the restored content mod is the most obvious choice, because it adds so much in terms of quantity of content. However, I feel like it would be a shame to crown-it just yet, as there are some gems out there that are quite polished, some of them were born after and intended to work with TSL RCM to offer the best experience possible and make-it even better. Man this is hard, so much mods made this game amazing! Even before TSL RCM existed, I think a lot of us were glad to have another planet to explore in deathdisco's Coruscant - Jedi Temple! The NPC Overhaul by Kainzorus Prime is just amazing and makes the game so much richer, with NPC's that don't look like they all dress at the same frigging store! Also, I think that just about none of us ever go to Nar Shadda without Sharen Thrawn's Skybox (I'm so sad he never released anything else...). And I can't Forget the feeling I've had when I first played with the "A Darker Peragus" mod. Made me enjoy Peragus endlessy in a whole new fashion! It was original and inspired, a whole new atmosphere for the game and I would have been thrilled to see the next iteration, had you had the time! With all that being said, I think the mod that adds the most to TSL (except the one that has already been nominated) is NPC Overhaul by Kainzorus Prime, so I nominate-it. http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=213010
VarsityPuppet
Can I go out on a limb and nominate Cathalan? If not, I would like to nominate The Ultimate Saber mod.
Sith Holocron
I'll nominate Coruscant - Jedi Temple by DeathDisco.
GeorgNihilus
Of course we already have TSLRCM as a major candidate for the win ... that said however ... I'd like to nominate Newbiemodder's Korriban expansion outstanding work: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=206541&highlight=Newbiemodder%27s+Korriban+expansion P.S. wish Cathalan would also be nameable as VarsityPuppet already "wished", a great whole planet add-on too.
