Guest DSEMPERORVIPER Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 yeah I think seattle got sick with New Yorks starbucks
Compa_Mighty Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 Unfortunately... I wanted Seattle to win.
darthfergie Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 Yeah GO CHARGERS...oh looks like I hoped into the wrong conversation...
Guest Tie Guy Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 i want the Braves to win, but above all else, for the Yankees to loose.
Guest DSSITHMASTER Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 hahhahhaha yankees win and there going to the world series
Clefo Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 My Avatar tells you how I think. And while I do believe that New York does deserve something special, why can't it be the Mets?
Wraith 8 Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 JOS VERSTAPPEN !!!!!!!! JOS VERSTAPPEN!!!!!! oh.... this is not a Formula 1 thread?? sorry.... dont like any other sport than Formula 1.
Lord JayVizIon Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 as a former resident of the east coast, i hope the yankees win this series, and they will...
Guest DSSITHMASTER Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 yes of course they will they say how randy johnson and curt shilling are so good well curts record agaist the yankees is 1-2 and randys is 2-2 lets face it randy hasent been pitchen very well and they still consider him a threat, I think that threat is going to vanish
Darth_Rommel Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 I always seem to gravitate towards the underdogs... the Yankee's are definately NOT underdogs I
Clefo Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 I'm sorry Viper did you even WATCH the NLCS? Johnson was pitching very awesomely. I think this series will go 6 or 7
Guest DSSITHMASTER Posted October 24, 2001 Posted October 24, 2001 I did and he wasent awsome compared to what clemons threw in game 5, randy johnsons pitching sucked
Clefo Posted October 24, 2001 Posted October 24, 2001 I wouldn't call a 2-0 record with an ERA under 2 a "Suck" pitching, as besides, Clemens didn't pitch in game 5, stupid Pettite did
Guest DSSITHMASTER Posted October 24, 2001 Posted October 24, 2001 sorry I ment game 4 and randy is not 2-0 he lost to the braves the first time around
Clefo Posted October 24, 2001 Posted October 24, 2001 HE DID NOT LOSE TO THE BRAVES! His postseason record is 2-1, he lost to the Cardinals, and he had really awful run support there. Someone back me up here. Clemens has had an OK postseason IMHO. He's just been starting when the Yankee defense is not there.

Lord JayVizIon Posted October 24, 2001 Posted October 24, 2001 yeah you're rite clefo, i don't think johnson sucks. someone with a 98mph avg. fastball is serious. the only question is whether or not he can hang with the yanks b/c let's face it, the yanks have seen him before while he was with the mariners and i'm just wondering if he can pick them apart. the yanks are one of the most disciplined teams i've ever seen when it comes to taking pitches. they can beat you in so many ways. if the d-backs have a chance, it's obvious the top of the lineup with womack, counsel, and co. have to get on base. that's really key...
Guest WC_heavyarms Posted October 24, 2001 Posted October 24, 2001 Johnson is awesome. He got me a couple of victories over other teams in fantasy baseball. Can't call him bad for that.
JEDI_MASTA Posted October 24, 2001 Posted October 24, 2001 D backs all the way the yanks have noooo chance
TieDefender75 Posted October 24, 2001 Posted October 24, 2001 YANKEES YANKEES YANKEES come on people YANKEES YANKEES YANKEES
Clefo Posted October 24, 2001 Posted October 24, 2001 C'mon you know the D'Backs rule . The Yankees are the epitome of all that is evil. Seriously? The team who wins it will win it in either in 6 or 7
Guest DSSMASTERVIPER Posted October 25, 2001 Posted October 25, 2001 diamond backs are going down in 5 games
