Why isn't LucasArts announcing any new adventure games?

I recently went to LucasArts.com and they have a whole bunch of new games for various platforms being / going to be released but none of them are adventure games. What is wrong with them?

but there still is a huge audience for those types of games. Anyways LucasArts should make games for their fans despite the popularity of the genre the game is. It just depresses me how no companies are making adventure games anymore and that is my favorite genre that isn't even remotely challenged by any other but I'm still praying for a resurgence in poularity in the genre hopefully in the next few years when I'll have a computer to play them on.

No, the reason is $$$. If a game doesn't pay the bills, then why make it? Would you run a farm and sell pears when you could sell tangerines for a lot more?

I forgot about that- you reckon if there ever was MI5 it could be multiplayer? I mean it would be cool and everything- but I dunno, could kinda ruin the game? Unless you get to choose which character you play the game from? I would kinda like to play a game from say Elaine's view or Stan's view, but especially Le Chuck's view

Yep, I'm one of the first to know if there's new new about the Sam and Max game coming out. I run Snuckey's, an up-and-coming Sam and Max site, so I'm really interested in Infinite Machine's (Justin Chin's company) new project.

Yes me too, in Stan's view, maybe with comments like in Broken Sword II.You have given a wonderful Idea to lobby for.
