Vagabond Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 Just wondering, because whenever I try to download the patch, BGUpdate1_1.exe, from Lucasart's website, it always times out. If someone has the patch on their website somewhere, I'd appreciate it if you could post a link to it so I could download it.
darthfergie Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 I downloaded it from the site that was shown in anouncement on http://www.galacticbattles.com
Tie Guy Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 Hmm, i've got the patch and i downloaded it in about 3 seconds with no problems at all.
Vagabond Posted December 8, 2001 Author Posted December 8, 2001 Hmmm, the http://www.galacticbattlegrounds.com site references the ftp site at LucasArts, which is the link that keeps timing out for me. I've tried Netscape 4.6, 6.0, and Explorer 5.0, and still no dice. Hmmm. Very odd.

They're probably being overwhelmed with people trying to patch the game so the wookiees work. Just be patient and hang in there. Try at wierd hours like really late at night. Eventually you will probably get in.
Dvlos Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 Go to gamespot.com and bring up the SWGB game in their archives (its usually on their top 10 game list at the bottom) go to downloads and its there.. thats where I got it.
Vagabond Posted December 8, 2001 Author Posted December 8, 2001 Cool! Thanks, man, gamespot did the trick. I'm not sure what's up with LucasArts' FTP server, but I'm good to go now. The Force is strong with you
R5D4 Posted December 10, 2001 Posted December 10, 2001 So I have it through Gamespot, thanks for the tip man !!!
