darthfergie Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 Do you think they should port Rogue Leader to PC??? I do...
Schmatz Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 I don't see why not? I mean, Rogue Squadron was out for PC as well as N64, so I don't think it would be difficult....
Jedi_Knight Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 they must then I don't have to buy a gamecube:p
Sherack Nhar Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 I think they should wait for the mainstream technology to be able to handle it. When programming for the PC platform, you can't code hardware optimizations like they did for the Gamecube platform.
darthfergie Posted December 8, 2001 Author Posted December 8, 2001 I don't care I want the exact game or better on PC...I have a high power PC...I don't mind:D :D
Schmatz Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 This is true, but it still should be done nevertheless. Jedi Knight II should be on Gamecube too
matt-- Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 You have to remember, GameCube works on a PowerPC processor. That's enough of a difference to make for a hard port. It all depends on what the game itself is programmed in. If it depends on assembly language, I doubt they'll port it.
darthfergie Posted December 8, 2001 Author Posted December 8, 2001 Too bad. They will just have to find a way to port it. Either that or kill the rioters outside the Lucasarts building...
Jedi_Knight Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 LOL fergie would be going crazy I could picture him doing that:)
darthfergie Posted December 8, 2001 Author Posted December 8, 2001 Mybe not me...BUT A LEGION OF STAR WARS PC FANS!!! JOIN ME ALL OF YOU!!!
Schmatz Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 "Paintball Sniper? What?" *splatter all over George's window* "Fine, give them their dang Port!!!"
Tie Guy Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 YES!!!!! This is one of the only two good games that GC has, and and must be ported, coz i liked it alot. Besides, have we ever known LEC to pass up another shot at money? With RL doing so well, they'll port it for sure....i hope.
darthfergie Posted December 8, 2001 Author Posted December 8, 2001 Yes George!!! REMEMBER THE MONEY YOU ARE WASTING!!! THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE A PC BEST SELLER!!!
Darth Simpson Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 Too bad that doesn't measure up to a GC bestseller, or the money LEC have received for keeping it a GC exclusive.
matt-- Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 Nintendo and LEC have undoubtably signed an exclusive contract. I have no problem saying that RL will not be out on the PC.
darthfergie Posted December 8, 2001 Author Posted December 8, 2001 I DON'T CARE!!!! KILL THE CONTRACT!!! Btw, size of GameCube disc (real size!!!) | | | | | | | | It is /|\ That small!!!
Schmatz Posted December 9, 2001 Posted December 9, 2001 Hate to break it to you, but on different resolutions, that looks bigger/smaller. On my screen, it looks about one inch diameter. Not radius, diameter!
darthfergie Posted December 9, 2001 Author Posted December 9, 2001 That's the SIZE of it!!! But I would be afraid that if I put it inside the GC to play it I would never be able to find it again...
Tie Guy Posted December 9, 2001 Posted December 9, 2001 Well, it literally doesn have about a 2-3 inch diameter, it is suprisingly small, to say the least.
matt-- Posted December 9, 2001 Posted December 9, 2001 Isn't it an 8 cm diameter? I think I read that in Nintendo Power
