Load up a few transports with the following combination(s):

 

5-10 Pummels

5-10 Bounty Hunters

5-10 Sith/Jedi

5-10 Mechs (not necessarily needed)

 

After loading, proceed to bring the transports into the enemy's base. If you move them fast enough, the missiles can't hit your transports. Even if they do, it takes a LOT to kill a transport.

 

After you unload the units, immediately set your pummels to work on destroying the command center or other crucial building(s). Use your other non-siege units to defend the pummels or to kill worker droids. This will hurt their economy very badly, and it takes a while for a worker droid to make another command center.

 

Just another strat from the game ruler Eets :D

hehe good strat but if u r the imperials i would add 5-10 darktrooers because when u have them in groups they are almost unstoppable and they are detector units so for when u are in tech 4 so can kill cloaked jedi

nah, you missed the best one. 5 person troop carrier. 5 troop carriers into one ship. 3 ships = 15 transports, 75 troops. Beat that army :)

well, i just played a game with Eets' chula *very evenly matched* where he did that...

got one command center of me... lucky i built two...

 

great game, we forgot to visit the monument so it ended early.

I was thinking of a good counter for that; just have Jedi, bounty hunters, mechs, and mounted troopers gaurding your base. Then, the BHs to take out the Jedi, the mechs to take out the BHs, and the Jedi and mounted troopers to take out the pummels. :D

Sure garrison jedis into your TC and some Mounted in your barracks.. its a waste to put lots of effort into AA since most likely the transport will succed in dropping the pummels before the AA destroys it.

There are various counters possible... since your main buildings will be the target, have medium turrets up and if possible, a fortress. That way you need minimum troops. Also, have fighters patrol your perimeter; they can damage transports so that your own anti-air turrets can finish them off.

well, the best defense is actually very simple; hurt his economy as fast as possible.. that way there simply is no opportunity to get pummels into transports !

 

so, in tech level 2, build a troop center near his base and flood him with troopers shooting at workers.

Actually Leon, that's offense, not defense :D And if you ever do that while we play, so help me god, I'll... well, I won't really do anything, but I'll sure be peeved!

I can easily beat that attack its called about 20-30 strike mechs.

It doesn't work in the demo...sorry it adds up...I tryed it against Eets a while back...a LONg while back...
