Where do I go to dload a map maker and tutorials for Elite Force?

 

Is it as easy to make maps for as Jedi Knight/Mysteries of the Sith?

I find it easier, my map maker was on the CD.

still can't find it...if i want it i gotta use fileplanet, which means i'll need to pay. any other links? hat's th name of the map editor on the cd?

Have you looked around some of the Quake 3 sites, or maybe try downloads.com

Don't use the previous link. I believe that will give you a slightly out of date GDK (version 1.1). I've found the updated official location for the GDK (version 1.2). 3ddownloads moved the file, and i've updated our editing resources thread accordingly.

what's the difference between a model and a skin? I found this Boba Fett model that'd be awesome to use in solo match, i followed the instructions to install it, but it doesn't show up.

the model is the shape, done with polygons

The skin is the texture applied over it

You could use different skins on the same model to make it look different
