Toa Tahu
I read Trail's guide(is that the only walkthrough for JK?!),and he said that Jerec has a grasp for the dark power that even rival that of the legendary Lord Vader himself's! What I don't understand is,how can this happen, and in what way he can rival him in force powers?Jerec's a Dark Jedi, and Lord Vader's a Sith! Thus, how can they compare, and how can it be rivalled? By the way, what's the advanced difference between a Dark Jedi and a Sith?I don't get the difference.
digl
Trails site isnt anything official, as to get so upset about it The Sith are something like a sect (always two they are, a master and an apprentice) So I guess any Jedi who uses his powers for evil, and is not a sith, is just called a Dark Jedi
CaptainRAVE
It might not be official, but its still a good read.
OnlyOneCanoli
I think that the Sith order is an order similar to the Jedi's. They would have their own rules and standards and codes, etc. A Dark Jedi, I would think, is a Jedi who uses his or her powers for evil.

StormHammer
Okay, this is taken from the Star Wars Encyclopedia... Sith An ancient people, they were conquered by powerful dark-side Jedi magic. In their 100,000 year history, they have come close several times to vanquishing the light side Jedi...they have remained a part of the galaxy, sometimes waxing, sometimes waning, and have maintained an unbroken line of chief practitioners known as Dark Lords Of The Sith. Dark Jedi Evil Jedi Knights operating during the Clone Wars were called Dark Jedi...About 19 years after the Battle of Endor, the Second Imperium attempted to train a new legion of Dark Jedi at the Shadow Academy. Dark Jedi are really Force users who have chosen the dark side...and as with light Jedi, their command and mastery of the Force changes from one Jedi to the next. Some are more powerful, and rise to positions of authority over their counterparts. As you said, the Dark Lords of the Sith are supposed to be the most powerful of dark-siders, but as the movies show, although Vader is undoubtedly very powerful...he is not completely dark-side, in spite of the fact that he is a Dark Lord Of The Sith. It seems to me that the Emperor's selection of Dark side apprentices was always flawed, anyway. Maul seemed to come and go in a flash...no match for Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. Vader was not rotten to the core - and so saved his son, and secured his own demise. I think that Jerec was a very powerful Dark Jedi, who managed to exert his authority over a band of other Dark Jedi...but he must have known his limitations, hence his quest for the Valley Of The Jedi to boost his powers. Keep in mind that the game Jedi Knight takes place just after the events shown in Return Of The Jedi...so Vader and the Emperor are already dead and gone. In those terms, Jerec is probably the most powerful Dark Jedi survivor known at that time (the cloned Emperor in Dark Empire doesn't appear until about 6 years later), so in terms of his power status I would imagine he is comparable to Darth Vader - although whether he could have rivalled Vader is unlikely, IMHO.
