Wilhuf
Gamedaemon has posted a new point release of Q3SA, bringing their mIRC-based Quake3 Arena server browser to version 0.34. Q3SA integrates Quake3 server browsing capabilities with mIRC, allowing you to ping and join Quake3Arena servers directly from mIRC chat. Perhaps this technology may also be adopted for Jedi Outcast? Q3SA Screens.
matt--
We can only hope. I like the idea of an out-of-game server browser!
Minimaul
I have something just like that for Unreal Tournament. Works great. A Good feature (UTMirc) is that in chat if you type !wut . It will show where people are playing. If they are. Allthough in big channels ,it gets very spammy. Pretty convienent though.
Agen
I would sell my house and family just for a chat system and a player list in jk2 mp. dunno how we'd tell raven that we want that.

ed_silvergun
This looks very promising. Personally I like the sound of having a decent alternative to using the in-game server browser. Thanks for the link, Wilhuf.
Damazig
It would be nice for JK2 to have something like that.
Wilhuf
In the interest of saving Agen_Terminator's house and family I sent an email to Monk (Q3SA's author) asking whether there would be Q3SA support for Outcast. Monk's reply: Anything is possible. I have gotten requests for several different games to be done. Right now I'm trying to work out a way to make it efficient to implement new games. As it stands it would take a lot of coding for what are essentially small changes. Hopefully I'll be able to support many games in the future. So, like I said, anything is possible and I'll put jedi outcast on the list Well, it may not save Agen_Terminator's home and family, but it's a start.
