Jonas
anybody knows if the upcoming ij title is partly done by lucasarts themselves, or if they're just handing it all over to collective, providing only the license? and, most important of all, will HAL BARWOOD be involved again (after doing the last two IJ-games?) Thanks for any comments, jonas
Boba Rhett
It's being made by The Collective but I don't know if Hal Barwood will be involved.
Metallus
Does Hal even work for LEC anymore? It seems like all the original adventure makers have left in recent years.
Schmatz
Did he have a part with the Infernal Machine? If not, then I think due to this change toa Tomb Raider-isque made the more adventurous aspects of the IJ games become smaller. So, I think Hal sorta stopped with IJ games, but that's only my thoughts.
Jonas
He was the Lead Designer for InfMach, too! Barwood is/was kind of the LAST MAN STANDING over at LEC, so I truly hope he'll be involved again.
QueZTone
Barwood rules! He's so good at doing Indy stuff If he's joining in producing the new game, then its prolly gonna rule undoubtly!
Schmatz
You could say the same thing about InfMach, but that wasn't all up to par.
Norimaki
Hal Barwood doesn't have anything to do with the new Indy game. That's what Factor 5's Julian Eggebrecht (they did Rogue Squadron and Rogue Leader) said on a German message board. Here's the link for all those who don't believe me (it's in German though, since it's a German message board and Mr Eggebrecht is originally German): http://www.maniac.de/forum/pxmboard.php?mode=msg&brdid=1&msgid=51870 I'm not too sure about this development actually and I'm deepy concerned about the quality of the new game. I mean all of the old Indy games really rocked. If this one goes back to the quality of the old Amiga action games Lucasarts can be proud they ruined another perfect license. I mean, heck, Indiana Jones is one of the only movie franchises that had really enjoyable game conversions. I'd hate to see this change.
