OnlyOneCanoli
I created a thread of similar nature when these boards first went up, and it was only mildly successful. But a long time has passed, and a lot of new faces have showed up. So, let's discuss the games we've been playing recently. PC, console, whatever. I'll start it off. I've been playing an unhealthy amount of Dark Age of Camelot ever since I got it two weeks ago. It's a MMORPG set in Camelot with three warring realms, if you didn't know. There's no doubt in my mind that this will be the next Everquest, and then some. The only thing that sucks about is that I'll have to severely cut back on my playing time when JKII comes out. In my spare gaming time, I've been digging in to Wolfenstein. Pretty good single player, but its multiplayer teams mode is where RTCW really shines. Me and Simpson play it quite a bit, although quite a bit less since I got DAoC. (Sorry, man. I'm always up for a round or ten, just ICQ me if you're up to it.) In addition to those games, I'm going to be getting back into DoD when beta 2.0 comes out. Its reviews and screenshots are looking fantastic. DoD's the only reason why HL is on my computer at the moment. Anyway, discuss.
JPMaximilian
I just beat Deus Ex. I've also beaten Half-Life, Blue-Shift, and Opposing Force. I played Thief for a little while but lost my motivation and started replaying JKII.

JPMaximilian
Heh! Sorry, I've got Jedi Outcast on the Brain, I meant Dark Forces II (Jedi Knight). You probably figured that out though.
Outlaw_Torn
TFC, we just entered into OGL and we're rapidly advancing the Open 5v5 ladder... that and the occasional UT/Q3A
Sounds Risky
All I've really been playing at the moment is Halo. A friend and I will get bored after goofing around in the Co-Op so we'll start killing each other (because if one person dies, they'll respwan as long as enemies aren't around), and we'd see how large a pile of bodies we can make. One time after we had a huge pile I got into the nearby tank and shot the bodies, making them fly everywhere! Now that was fun!
OnlyOneCanoli
I played Halo through. Damn good game, especially the last level. I want to dogfight with my friends in those flying vehicles.
Sounds Risky
You can steal some in Assault on the Control Room. We ended up not passing a checkpoint so no enemies spawned in and we had a battlefield all to ourselves. Good fun.
Darth Simpson
I've been playing a little Wolfenstein and a little Commandos 2 in the last two weeks, but not much. I've been extremely busy lately, but this Sunday I'll be free again, then we'll play Wolf for a looong time Canoli!
OnlyOneCanoli
Hehe, all right. Sunday looks good for me. Foosball is on, but I can live without watching it.
GonkH8er
Well, since I got my cable, I've been enjoyed sub 50 CS pings. That and playing an awesome Q3A total conversion called sidrial. Oh, and a fair bit of civ 3, but that got old quickly. I need blood Canoli- what did I tell you about playing DAoC? tsk tsk tsk

Darth Simpson
Sidirial looks pretty good, I downloaded the movie trailer off their homepage. Extremely slow site though... Maybe I need to get Quake 3 again, I think I traded it for Baldur's Gate 2. I've been thinking about the Ultimate Quake Pack, with all 3 titles. Outlaw_Torn
What's this Sidirial about? I'm a crazed mod collector Simpson + Canoli: Remember the OWK.net Championships we came up with? We gotta do that again! That rocked!
Darth Simpson
Yeah, that would be great! Get the old gang together again...
OnlyOneCanoli
I wouldn't mind that. But we'd have to come up with a game everybody has. We could always do UT, but I uninstalled that a couple weeks after the second UT-a-thon.
StormHammer
I still have quite a bunch of games I need to finish. I'm currently working my way through RTCW single-player, and dipping into Cossacks: European wars (random maps at the moment). Oh, and I just finished replaying MotS from start to finish (I still think there should have been a little cut scene right at the end). Once I've finished RTCW, I'll dive full throttle into AvP2... GUNNER
I spend just about all my free time, which is very little, playing CS. My clan is in the top 10 in the OGL in the FF catagory. When ever our server is full though I play Unreal which I bought back in Dec. It was the Unreal Gold, got it for 7 bucks. Anyway, any CS fans can head over to our clan server here. 66.89.131.198:27016 and our site is http://www.slackersunited.com. We run all the latest cheat detection and have plenty of good players on all the time. Look for [sU]Juggernaut.

Broode
I would be playing Ghost Recon, if it didn't restart my computer everytime i play the sixth level *mumbles*. I'm not playing much ATM, i finished AvP2 about a week ago (great game, but the ending was a little... i dunno. it just didnt feel like anything had ended), I play a bit of starcraft and the occasional game of Sven Co-op for half life (get it. now. ). Now im mainly just waiting for JKII, or until school so i can borrow some games off my freinds.
Guest toms
oddly, glQuake. not sure why.. it was just sitting there... amazing how well that engine holds up considering how old it is... and some of the level design is still great, although i am burning through it at about 5-10 mins a level on nightmare... couldn't do that a few years ago. i have Severance, Black and White, Shogun, Rouge Spear, Oni, Echelon, Operation Flashpoint sitting on my desk... but i can;t afford to upgrade my PC enough to play them. oh well.. OnlyOneCanoli
Hehe, I played through glQuake about three months ago. Lots of fun. And I bought and played through MoH: AA already. Damn good game, but I wish there was more to singleplayer. The multiplayer is better than I expected, but I don't think it's better than DoD or RTCW. StormHammer
Originally posted by OnlyOneCanoli Hehe, I played through glQuake about three months ago. Lots of fun. Yes, I have to agree with you. It's still a good clean blast. As is Doom (using an enhanced engine), or Heretic, or Hexen. There's nothing quite like 30+ enemies coming at you at the same time...
