Link Antilles
I'd read in an ESB book that "Hobbie" crashed into Veer's walker. Which ended in the death of "Hobbie", Veers, and also a few snowtroopers. But, in my Star Wars encyclopedia it says: Maximillion Veers: Veers was betrayed by his son Zev Veers during the battle of Hoth. Zev later become lead gunner of a Mon Cal cruiser during the battle of Calamari. Derek "Hobbie" Klivian: "Hobbie" lived through the battle of Hoth. He also fought at the battles of Endor and Barkura. So what really happened?
Tie Guy
Well, "Hobbie" is also in several Rogue Squadron books so he couldn't have died. I don't know about veers but i would say that the encyclopedia is true.
Rogue15
it's official that Veers made it through Hoth.
Rogue Nine
Of course Veers made it through Hoth. He kicked Rebel tushie in that battle! Hobbie was still around. He's in several X-wing novels, including the most recent one, Starfighters of Adumar, which takes place a long time after Endor. And I do think he is mentioned in some of the NJO books as well. xwing guy
I there going to be a 10th Xwing series book? I hope there is.
Rogue Nine
I think Adumar was published in 2000...maybe later than that, but it's been out for a while. I don't think there are any plans to make any more of them, now that everyone's churning out NJO and pre-ANH novels. Silly move on LucasBooks part, if you ask me. Rogue Nine
Uhm...Wraith Squadron is an Intel unit now, so the next being an X-wing book would be a little out of place.
