SNOOPER
Does somebody solve that RS crashes in XP in many points? RS crashes after intro of game or when I select ships or after finishing mission. I really want to solve this problem and to have fun with it. Though I posted it in techcenter forum I had no solution. Please help me!
Rogue15
ah, sorry, forgot to check tech center. I don't think XP supports Rogue Squadron. How much ran does your computer have?

Wraith 8
No RAVE. that is not true. the people i know are speeking good of XP for everything else. but with games it still comes short. so i think that the problems lies there. and not with everything else on XP. Devil Doll
Windows 2000 server, windows 2000 professional and windows XP doesn´t work with a lot of games, when I got my new PC DSS tryed to install RS in my PC and he can´t did it, those softwares are more for workig people, not for the ones who wants to play sometimes, I was very lucky when American Mcgees Alice run perfectly in my pc with windows 2000 professional
S1DC
XP is the best OS right now. Mac's OS 10 has more glithes in it then any other version; wnough for 4 system patches already. XP is just too fast for the games. Thusly, i wouldm recomend a dual boot up with windows 98. Otherwise, just wait for the new driver updates. Wraith 8
i went to a seminar of Mac OS X. it looked very cool. but a lot of things are realy windows things. the guy also said... this time we steel :D. I have windows 98 second edition. it works perfectly. so im not changing OS. untill there is an absolute better one.
CaptainRAVE
I also have Windows 98 SE and will never change it until a much much better windows comes out which is a little stable and runs ALL games. Until then Windows 98 is much better
S1DC
Agreed. XP is not for gamers. 98 works just fine.
