I got sheet music to the Barber of Seville, I was like.... NEEAAAAAttttttttt. and it's a fun song to play.

Barber of Seville, Le Barbier de Seville. My favorite part is Bazile's monologue in Acte II scene 8 concerning the "Calomnie", that monolgue is so great..

I was excited about getting a book of music played by Wynton Marsalis. I mainly got it because it has Variations on Canival of Venise, but it has other great songs in it like Flight of the Bumbble Bee. I aso was happy about getting Haydn's and Arutunian's trumpet concerto.

 

Oh yeah today we were told one of the songs we will be playing with the Marine Band from 29 Palms. I don't remember the name, but I know it was written in tribute to a plane crash in Scottland.
