I think both are excellent games. MoH owns RTCW in single-player, but I prefer RTCW's arcade-style multiplayer combined with its class systems.

But I'll be honest, I've played neither game since DoD beta 2.0 came out last week. So I'm going to go out on a limb and vote for 'Other' (DoD 2.0) in this case. I'll always be loyal to it because I started playing at 1.0 and I like to support these mod makers that make incredible games and are not afraid of the big bad competition from EA and id.

I agree, this poll needs more options.

DoD Beta 2 also deserves its own slot as it is a major player in the increasingly crowded WW2 market (with more coming!).

I said RtCW ... but then I was playing the _orig_ CW (not Wolf 3D) when most of the people here were in diapers;) ... so there was a significant nostalgia factor ...

Also, I'm not a big WWII game fan in general, but that said MoH:AA is quite the game ...

Man that game was sweet! I remember playing Castle Wolfenstein and Beyond Castle Wolfenstein back in the day, man o man does that bring back memories. Pretty sophisticated for the time too, like in Castle Wolfenstein you could hold guards captive and search them for ammo and stuff, great game! Pretty impressive game, even if it is older than the hills.

Beyond Castle Wolfeinstein was just as memorable for me...
