Rogue Nine
I think he spells it "Allen", but whatever. Nice to know there's another Escaflowne fan here.
Flying Beastie
I got "Alan" from reading the captions on YTV. Of course, they're the ones who occasionally identified a certain Gundam pilot as "Katra Rabbabba Winner." :rolleyess
Rogue Nine
It's "Allen". You need to see the good, unedited stuff. Wait, do they show the original Japanese version on YTV?
Flying Beastie
ROTFLOL! I'm in Canada, remember? The best programming we get up here is USian leftovers. If I want access to unedited animé (or even *gasp* subtitled), I have to order them myself. The only real animé I can watch is: Sailor Moon (shown infrequently, and heavily edited, on YTV) Transformers: Robots in Disguise (shown weekly on Fox Kids) Gundam Wing (latenight Friday on YTV) Cardcaptors (shown out of order, edited, and in fragments on Teletoon) Escaflowne was on last year, and has since either vanished or been shuffled off to the Time Slot of the Lost. That's not even counting Pokémon, DBZ, and Digimon, who've attained "fad" status and can thus be seen pretty much anywhere in the Americanized forms. Y'see, here in Canada, Programming Execs base their decisions on two "facts:" 1. Cartoons are for children. 2. Children aren't smart enough to understand most of what they watch. Thanks for reminding me; I was planning to send an Email to Teletoon calmly explaining that Cardcaptors involves a very important plot that's being butchered by their haphazard airing sequence.
Rogue Nine
Oy, you Canadians have it rough up there. I'm sorry you gotta suffer through Pokemon, Digimon and especially DBZ. But kids are misinformed these days as to what the best anime out there is. Until the US gets it right, there's kinda no chance that your country will either. Damn US TV. Flying Beastie
What're you complaining about? You've got the real Cartoon Network.

Redwing
*snicker* Hey FB, that reminds me, I need to drag you over to RS.net sometime... BTW: Cartoon Network has been steadily easing up on the editing...they released Cowboy Bebop as *GASP* TV-14 :rolleyess ...hopefully they decide to be DARING and air a show with, say, all the plotlines and relationships (straight or otherwise) intact... BasiliskJC
If I had feelings that would have hurt, Rogue15. But I don't.
Cmdr. Cracken
I know it's not anime, but has anypne here seen Invader Zim? My god, that 'toon is hilarious! too bad Nickelodean cacled it because it was getting to "gothic". it was an ingenious piece of work. maybe Cartoon Network'll pick it up. BasiliskJC
I've never heard of Invader Zim, but then again I hardly ever watch cartoons anymore.
