Porkins and I are in a MSN Messenger chat (because he applied for Nexsis) and was nice enough to give me a screenshot of his first official FULL game =) It was of the Trade Fed marching through and over green hills. He has to go very soon so cant play much until later. He told me of the opening cinematics and from what he said, he said they were killer. He also said the graphics were great.

i have to agree with fergie, porkins. that is considered spamming, so it would be better than putting your thoughts, ideas, feelings about gameplay, the scenario editor, etc. to add something to the conversation.

 

however, congrats on getting it. i know how you feel. if i remember you live in concord, ca. i'm up in san fran, which is 25-30 minutes from one of lucasarts HQ's in northern cali. anyhow, i'll add my comments tomorrow on this matter about the game itself. i need to hit up some parties tonite!

Well, the game did ship recently, so okay, it may make sense.

 

I'm sceptical by nature (remember me on the day before the demo release date ), but I believe you.

 

 

PS: Is that screenshot from a campaign? Because I'm 90% sure I've seen a screenshot that looked like it.. with the road and that flag.. First TF mission?

This is not spam if anything it is a spam not spamming. Whats with a mod threatning to give someone one minute to say this isnt a spam? Ill take up for porky on one thing and he is not a spammer this is just one post. If you look at his other 200 Id would say 97% of them contain to a subject and are not a couple of one-liners *cough* fergie *cough*.

 

If you want posters on the forum Id consider you lighten up or you will be just posting by yourself. Dont go around and give everyone super wedgies because you can.

 

Id like to say I like the new rules and its about time but its not the rules that matter its how they are enforced like a cop wont pull you over for going over the speed but he will pull you over for how fast you are going over the speed limit. Jeez I thought these rules wouldnt be enforced too.

I really don't think that a post with 20 replys could be considered spam. It led to the posting of a new screenshot and the information that some people were already playing the game. It also caused everyone who doesn't live in CA to instantly hate and envy everyone who does

Thats why California always gets earthquakes, I am trying to get Lucasarts to relocate to Minnesota!!!! Just kidding, my wife wont let me use my superpowers for evil only grocery shopping....hehehe.

 

I had to wait 9 months for my kids, and now I have to wait another bloomin week for my game. I am very happy about one thing though......I am gald I am an American!!!! We get all the cool stuff first, but the other people of the world get way better shows on TV!!!!

I think you spam cops need to relax a little. It's pretty significant that this guy has the game like 2-3 days before the rest of us

Was that screen shot in the highest resolution? I sure hope not, cause it didn't look to great, and the untis were HUGE.

I am sure anyone on the forum who got the game first would have posted about it. Who wouldn't? We werent talking about the game for 3 months for nothing!
