Metallus Posted March 5, 2002 Posted March 5, 2002 I was bored, so I thought I'd have a little fun with a hosted site. Here's what happened:
Metallus Posted March 5, 2002 Author Posted March 5, 2002 Negative. I just clicked on a link on the CLD mainpage over and over.
Tall Guy Posted March 6, 2002 Posted March 6, 2002 i just got a copy of it a few weeks ago, not quite sure how to use all the features on it yet tho. anybody know any decent online tutorials?
Metallus Posted March 6, 2002 Author Posted March 6, 2002 Tutorials schmutorials. The best way to learn is to try stuff out.
Schmatz Posted March 6, 2002 Posted March 6, 2002 Yeah, and if you use too many filters, Mettalus will be on your ass in a hearbeat "DO IT YOURSELF DONT BE PREFAB!" Trust me I've been honored with the experience Oh, hey Met
Thrik Posted March 7, 2002 Posted March 7, 2002 The only filters I ever use are light source, drop shadow and inner/outer glow
Metallus Posted March 7, 2002 Author Posted March 7, 2002 I don't have any problem with layer "effects" such as drop shadows, bevels, glows, etc., because in Photoshop they make them so versatile that figuring out how to use them to their full potential requires a bit of skill. The "filters", for the most part aren't very good to use, simply because they aren't very adjustible and end up looking very much the same, making them easily recognizable by other PSers.
