Jedimaster74
I am just wondering who is going to be buying the Collectors Edition vs the Standard Edition of JediMaster. I may just get the Collectors Edition for the Nice Tin Case and JediKnight
HBK
I admit it, I am buying regular. I care not for tin cases, keychains and t-shirts. JUST GIVE ME THE GAME!!!!
Justus
I'm going with the standard, I already have Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, and MotS (even though the collectors version has omitted MotS). But I don't really need two copies of games I already have, and no I don't need backup copies... I've had Dark Forces since the day it was released way back when and the CD is in fine shape still. But I think the collector's version is a bargain for people that don't have the original Dark Forces (best FPS ever!), and/or Jedi Knight.

Desslock
Almost every time I've bought the collectors edition i've gotten some poor Happy Meal prize I paid $10 extra for. I never keep my boxes.. Games are lucky if I keep their manuals  Standard for me.
Kurgan
Depends.. if I see the Collector's Edition (tin instead of cardboard box; extra copy of JK1; JK2 keychain) for the same price or cheaper than the standard, I'll get it. Otherwise, I think I'll foregoe the opportunity to get a nice box for my JK2 cookies.
Dan12R
I have JK. Don't feel like keeping a tin box. I'd trash it eventually also. I'll go with the standard.
Jagon
the Standard unless the t-shirt was some sort of Cool Jedi outcast thing
Pipe Smoke
I'm getting the collector's edition, because I wouldn't have it any other way. Â Did it for Wolfenstein as well. It's about respect to the original game I feel. Â Plus I always keep all my game boxes, I'm beginning to run out of room in fact. Â The tin box and the key chain and Dark Forces are all tempting me. I can give my old copy of JK 1 to a friend or something, who knows. Â I played the original DF, and maybe even owned it at one point... but no longer. And I don't think I ever played it start to finish. Â So, I'd like to have that again.

elenex
Hi, i'm new to this board, but am a long time forum user over at TribalWar.com. Â As for which edition i got, i pre-ordered the regular one from Ebgames.com when it was $39.99 (which lasted about a day). Â However, if you missed that deal, check this one out... Â http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000639W2/qid=1016219463/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_71_1/102-6449533-7395323 Â Amazon is selling the collector's edition for $49.99, the same price as the regular one. If I hadn't already bought the game I'd jump on that.
Rogue15
does amazon.com require a credit card, or can they send me a bill so i can pay by check???
Belgirion
I'm getting the collector's edition...I always keep my boxes and i can use the tin box to keep all my game cd's in
OnlyOneCanoli
I'm leaning towards the collector's edition. I usually buy the regular version of games unless the game is really special or something that I've looked forward to a long time.
Justus
I take it back, I just cancelled my order at LucasArts and pre-ordered from EB... I couldn't pass up the collector's version.
