Game Crashes

There's no reason for this except the game hates you. ;)

 

Same thing happens to me about 50% of the time on a later level. Nothing I know to do about it except threaten, cajole, beg and plead your computer not to do it again...and restart the game. :D

Like ice said.... what are is your system???

Do you have enough memory?? and a good graphics card??

or mayhbe you are running programs while playing RS....

euh...... drivers.... reinstalll directx or something.....

 

personaly i never had any trouble.... the only thing was that it was lagging all the time. but that was my memory.

 

and redwing...... begging helps.... believe me :D... im gegging every day when im startinbg up XWA.....like: please start... please start... come on..... you can do it.:D

lol reminds me of trying to play jedi knight on my 486 BEFORE i added 80 megs of ram to it....only had 16 megs of ram and it took FOREVER!!!! but u know...it WAS worth the wait. :) *remembers first time playing the stormtrooper level, thinking the at-st room was a boss room, and luring the stormy into a mine* ahhhh reminiscence!!! :D

@bravesimon: If you have DirectX 8.0 that MIGHT be the problem...

i got directx 8 and have no problems.

 

wait. i noticed yesterday a problem in rogue squadron....the buildings and units and stuff sometimes have stupid boxes around them!!!!!! AAAHHHHHH i can't get rid of it it looks retarded. o well. at least force commander runs...

@ redwing.... euh... i deleted the game and installed RS :D

 

@ rogue 15...... I had that problem with TPM... the problem was 3dfx card./..... it wasnt the right one.

 

@ simon. i say try to reinstall directx... or try to re-install the entire game..... have you selected the right 3d card as well??
