Ok people, we all love music (showed in other articles) so now I ask, what do you play???? I play guitar myself so I am biased, but I am sure there are drummers, bassists, and even more people out there. So all I ask is, please submit your instrument. And maybe say a little about your band or something. It's nice to know what others like you guys play just to get to know your music styles, although I'm sure the majority is rock (KICKS ASS), so plz post!

Thanks for taking the time!

sadly, i'm just a plain vocalist in my band...

i can play a little drumms, but not enough styles to actually be called a drummer.

and guitar, i want to learn, but i cant afford it...

one thing i'm a little proud off, i dont know to play on the Piano/organ. BUT, in a matter of minutes, without any help, just by playing around with the keys, i managed to play

*the Jurasic Park theme

*some chtistmas song (cant remember its name)

*the good the bad and the ugly

*some song that i dont even remember whats it called, you know, the one that goes 'Na-na-na-na-na,na-na-na-na-na"

yeah...erm....whatever...

im a guitarist and ****ing proud!! (Niko: get a cheap-o acoustic guitar, acoustics are great to start on and calous your fingers right away....plus, theyre CHEAP....ive seen em go for 200 bucks easy)

yeah, its funny...i cant find a single ****ing suburban bass player....not one.....we have 3 damn guitarists in my band and i cant manage to find a freaking bassist...nor a drummer!!!

IT ANGERS ME!!! my point: if you are a bassist or a drummer and live in rockville centre, new york CALL ME

yeesh :-P

It's the opposite around here: too many bassists, not enough lead guitarists. WiG were just ready to begin practicing together, when one guitarist broke his collarbone playing football and the other left the band because the band he was already in decided NOT to split up after all. So now we need two guitarists and a lead singer. 'Tis annoying.

i own a semi-acoustic. i'm normally able to learn to play just about anything you give me in about half an hour just as long as it isn't something too hard. i'm not in a band or anything, i kinda just like to play for fun, you know, instead of listening to the same ol' CD's on my hi-fi, i just make something up on the guitar. it's normally crap though so i just think of a famouse (of in-famouse) song, and try to learn it myself.

exactly because u live in ny that u cannot know if ny is or isnt the capital of guitars. u gotta live somewhere else, and THEN go to ny to take this kinda conclusion

I play the Tromboner. The boner is the best istrument to play. (Don't take 'Tromboner' and 'boner' the wrong way, lol, those are my nicknames for the Trombone):D

Right, You send us music Feral, wee'll play it, record it then send It to someone to combine all of the files into one song. We'd be a internet band, never seen each other, DON'T EVEN KNOW OUR REAL NAMES, famous. ....Acually, that's not a bad idea.:violin:

Next time you're in the city, go to an established guitar place like Matt Uminov and place up an ad for a band opening for someone who transfers from the city to the suburbs. I'm sure there is at least one bassist in New York!:)

I play flute and piano/keyboard.

I did have lessons for flute when i was at school but after I got to grade 5 I just taught myself. I taught myself to play piano though.
