KhaleeLah Posted May 20, 2002 Posted May 20, 2002 Some of the plot threads didn't make a lot of sense to me: 1) Jango was trying to kill Padme--why?? 2) After Obi-wan found out the clones had been ordered by Sypho-dias, he told the Jedi Council and asked "didn't Sypho-dias die over 10 years ago?" and the Jedi Council gave each other knowing looks. Huh??? KL
Heavyarms Posted May 20, 2002 Posted May 20, 2002 1. Count Dooku payed him to do it because she did not want a republic army, which he and chancellor Palpatine needed for his plan to work. 2. Um, I'm not sure that he really died. It was most likely later than what Obi thought.

Heavyarms Posted May 20, 2002 Posted May 20, 2002 rhett, I would not say it was them. It was most likely the Jedi Council or Supreme Chancellor because they didn't want anyone to know about it, possibly. I'd guess the supreme chancellor, most likely.

After he did, he ordered the clone army, but the Jedi Council told him not to, but he did anyways. And right after he did, he found a way to hide where he planted this army. And that is how Obi Wan manages to stumble upon it, bringing it back to the front of the Council's mind.

Sidious - because they think it sounds a lot like it 4. anyones guess It seems like Yoda knows a lot more than he is saying. Have to wait 3 more years!
