What do you want to see in Episode 3?

Homosexual Ewok

Me?

1-Sidious/Palpatine fighting. Lucas said in AotC we would see why Yoda was called master. Well, I want to see why this dude is such a bad dark side mo-fo. Granted we saw the lightning, but come on, I know he's got more than that.

2-Vader in armor.

3-Vader in armor killing Jedi.

4-More tight white outfits on NP that show off her "perky side".

5-Chewbacca dammit! Where is Chewbacca?

6-Boba (in his "Boba threads") kicking Mace in the ass for snuffing his old man.

7-Qui-Gon ghost (doubt I will see this though).

All o the above +

Kamino being levelled by ISD orbital bombardment...

Anakin vs Dooku, the grudge match...

Yoda vs Sidious, paragons of the force letting rip...

Clone Troopers vs Storm Troopers

The RoyalGuard actually doing something other than statue impressions...

Obi-Wan vs Anakin

Jar Jar's realisation that his gullibility and stupidity were the catalysts for a war that destroyed a Republic that had endured for a millenia...

I'm barely over Ep2 and already I want 3!

Oh yeah I forgot about the Dagobah cave. I would not mind seeing the reason why the dark side is so strong in that place. Maybe Dooku bites it in there? (Heir to the Empire novel anyone?)

As for the Crimson Guards, dude if this is going to be the final movie, Lucas better have those cats strap it on. Kind of like the Fetts, we had to wait how many years for the dude to show us what they/he could do?

Yoda and Sidious would be insane, It honestly sounds way too good to be true though.:(

The forming of the Rebel Alliance would be dramatic. Can you envision, three leaders meeting upon a wind-swept mesa, as the sun sets on the barren, deserted world. The burnt out hulks of smoldering war machines litter the desert-floor, far below, a testament to the urgency of their gathering. Distrust is thick among them, but with no other alternative, Bail Organa of Alderaan, Garm Bel-Iblis of Corellia, and Mon Mothma of Chandrila - amidst the howling wind, wordlessly shake hands, and the Alliance to overthrow the Empire is born.

That's how I always imagined it...

Thanks, Woad. I just hope Lucas portrays the moment with enough significance - enough gravity. That pivotal moment will be the foundation for the conflict for Episodes IV-VI. A simple scene without a lot of unnecessary exposition - the camera dwelling on the moment, supported by an equally moving musical score. The characters can't possibly imagine the events their seemingly modest act will set into motion, nor where it will lead, but we do, which is what will make this scene so historically dramatic.

It would also provide an uplifting moment in what certainly promises to be a very dark and somewhat depressing film.

The formation of the rebel alliance,

according to the EU it happened on Corellia about six months to a year before ANH..

of course Lucas has shown no mercy in demolishing EU he doesn't think fits so you may still see your dream on camera, and it would be cool to see a flyby by Z-95's/Y-Wings or even X-Wings (if again Lucas overrides the EU) as the crucial treaty is signed...

Somehow I doubt that there would be Z-95s, X & Y wings flying overhead in parade formation. Rather, I'd think the participants would want to be as discreet and secretive as possible. Would they sign a formal treaty? Perhaps, but it may be that a shared understanding of mutual interests - namely the overthrow of the Empire, would be sufficient.

What I wanna see in Episode III

Obi Wan tells Padme that Luke & Leia will be a threat to Anakin and they should be hidden.

Qui Gon shows up in ghosts form to help Anakin, but Ani tells him to f&ck off.

Palpatine reveals that he himself is Darth Sidious and he orders the clones aka The Storm Troopers to kill everyone. He becomes Emperor in the process.

Mace killed by Bobba Fett.

Jar Jar killed by C3PO :D lol j/k

Jar Jar killed by Storm Troopers

Naboo blown up by Death Star testings

Anakin Vs Obi Wan to the death. Anakin losses of course.

Palpatine saves Anakin from near death and transforms him into Darth Vadar.

Obi Wan & Yoda escort Padme, Luke & Leia off to safety to hid from the Empire.

A few things, J. Master Eric:

1. Alderaan is the first planet destroyed by the Death Star, as stated by Tarkin himself, "...to demonstrate the full power of this battle station..." That implies that it is the first planet to be destroyed. If Naboo had been destroyed first - assuming it was destroyed - then that would have demonstrated the full power of the battlestation, and word of its destruction would have spread around the galaxy like wildfire, yet there was no mention of this in any of the other movies. Plus, Palpatine might - not saying he would - but might have some hesitation to blowing up his own homeworld.

2. Remember that Obi-Wan does not know that Leia is Luke's sister. When Luke leaves his training for Cloud City, Obi-Wan remarks, "...that boy was our last hope...", but Yoda reveals, "No...there is another..." It's easy to miss the subtlety there, but it's implying that only Yoda knew of Luke and Leia's connection to Anakin. So, if you try to imagine how the events unfolded such that Obi-Wan was kept in the dark about Leia, you'd have to guess that Yoda sent Obi-Wan off to Tatooine with Luke, while Yoda sent Leia to Bail Organa on Alderaan. Such was the safer course of action - the fewer people that knew the better - and Yoda's burden was to both keep that information secret on the uninhabited world of Dagobah.

3. I agree - having Boba Fett kill Mace Windu would be poetically dramatic. I have to be honest - I felt a pang of sadness when the actor playing Boba cried out as he watched his father die. I don't know the kid's name, but he did an excellent job, as the emotions during that scene seemed genuine and very Human. It would be very natural for Boba Fett to harbor deep hatred for Mace Windu, and would be almost cathartic for him to be the one to slay the great Jedi Master. Think about it - from the time he was a child, he would hone and channel all his skills toward defeating Jedi - not just being a typical Bounty Hunter, but more of a Jedi Hunter, the most cunning of all prey. And I wouldn't be surprised if Boba is deeply involved in the Jedi Purge of Episode III. Very good suggestion.

I want:

1. Anakin to kill Dooku.

2. Darth Vader in total jedi destruction mode - killing pretty much all of them single handed except the obvious survivors in the later films, (poss vader vs yoda?) :vadar:

3. Padme to die (We'll never see her again anyway).

4. Naboo to be destroyed (as mentioned by JM Eric). Who's gonna notice? :deathstar

5. Jar Jar to be on Naboo at the time . ;)

6. Palpatine to fight. :lightning

7. Early Star Destroyers. :vsd:

8. Early X-wings and Ties in battle. :x-wing:

9. Just plenty of killing (is that too much to ask?)

Or perhaps Obi-Wan just doesn't know of Leia's force potential, thus him not knowing of a second "hope."

He's been asked this point-blank, and said that Episode III will be the last Star Wars movie. Basically, he said he doesn't have anymore material for movies after Return of the Jedi. That movie was the final chapter of his saga - adding anything else to that story-arc wouldn't make sense. It's all about how Anakin was born to be the one to bring balance to the force, his fall from grace, and his redemption as he fulfills his destiny. As far as that's concerned, there's nothing else to tell.

It would be kind of neat to see some "aside" movies, such as the life and times of Boba Fett. Or some of the expanded-universe characters during the era of the main storyline. Or even thousands of years prior to Episode I, during the Sith Wars.

Leia didn't have any force powers, or none thats we saw, did she?

And did anakin bring balance to the force by conceiving his two kids, and eventually killing palpatine? Because he disrupted the balance in ever other way possible. Or did he?

:jawa

Well think about it, at the time Anakin was prophecized as "the one who will bring balance to the force," the force seemed to be well more light-sided than dark sided, the only way to balance that out is if he turned to the dark side, then reduced the amount of light jedi... which became 2 - 2... Palpatine/Vader, and Yoda/Kenobi.... kenobi died, luke took his place, keeping the balance, then yoda died, then the dark side was winning the balance of the force... Anakin finally fulfilled that prophecy when he killed Palpatine... He was then a light jedi, but hey, it ended there, with just Luke left. and all was once again good... or something
