Hahaha, This thread is not dead! heh j/k damn man between this server and my server i can never connect to the forums... Finally got connected... No the model is not dead, I bought a wacom tablet the otherday and i am getting the hang of the controll of it and i have been trying to figure out the hirarchy problem.. No one can seem to help me figure it out. If anyone here who has sucessfully released a model can lend me a hand i would appreciate it.. I've also been really busy due to the fact that i am traveling abroad this summer on the 28th of this month to be exact.. So i would like to release this model before i go to satisfy all you who have been waiting and support me. If anyone out there has skills with models like i said before and would like to make this a joint release to help release this as soon as possible ICQ me! PLEASE! (please have some skill in the programs tho) Im modeling with 3ds max 4.2 so if your a modeler and would like to join me as a team for this release i can send you the model to see why the hiarchy is wrong.. ICQ: 20183235

Thanks All, and here's a pic of the commander Skin!

Commander Blue! (comes in red too!)

Constructive criticism here...but it would probably be a good idea to work on the details of the model more(or hand this off to someone who will) before it gets released. It looks fine, but its not exactly accurate, and it would really suck if you got back from vacation and someone had made a more detailed model and no one was paying attention to yours. I just really would like to see an awsome clonetrooper model come out, and I don't think anyone wants this one rushed out before its ready.

Ok, Criticism is welcome, and i am making the changes, fixed chin (remember this model does not have to be 100% accurate keep in mind that i can only use so many poly's to prevent lag) And changed color of the skins to pure red, and blue. Like i said before in answer to inbredyokel .. i am definately not trying to rush it like i said i would like someone to help out with the development of this model. Its a very difficult task when you have to prepare for a trip and attend jury duty (and believe me it sucks) all at the same time. I am trying to make this the best i can, but i am running out of time, days and patience. So I cant stress how much i need the help of an expert modeler...

Thanks for all your input guys, yet again!

Fixed chin and new colors (plus shading)

Oh.. And yes i am adding the blinking light, plus reflective lens and band on the head.

Yes, that picture does show it differently, but the toys arent to scale, and are lacking alot of the real detail, i am using the refrence from the books with the high res photo's of the real suits used in the movie, so i think my model is near perfect.. Could still use some tweaking, but i would like to be able to at least release a little beta like version first so that people can get an idea of gameplay and so on.. :)

They're all from the movie after all. :)

Well so far so good , kinda... Well the xform did fix the hiarchy and the model did load correctly within assimilate... But... i still cant get JKII to recognize the pk3. I packed it as a pk3 not a zip, i included the stormtrooper shound.cfg and animsounds.cfg, plus all the skins including the .skin files, and the .glm, root.xsi and the shaders .txt and .shader files. So all i can think is that maybe there is a way to configure the model in assimilate? Anyone know why? Im gonna read up on assimilate and see whats up who know whats wrong... I'll find out tho. (expect a beta release within the next week)

Thanks :)
