DarthMuffin
What do you think will happen to Padmé in Ep 3 ?
DannyJAllTheWay
Never really thought about that... Of the choices that you have listed, I would choose Anakin. It would be a proper way to show that he has become evil, with the death of his loved one.
razzorr
I think that other things will turn him. Although after what he did to the sand people (Mom's Death) you would think that this (Padme death) would turn him over the edge. But as to how he may have knowen he had a son but not a girl. Also I would think that Padme lives but gets hiden from him because he turns evil.

BlackDove
Yeah, that would sound most reasonable. But still *^post above hehe*
eastcoast2895
doesn't she live? iin rotj luke asks leia if she remembers her real mother and leia says yes and that her mother was always sad. so i think that padme lives and is of course sad because of anakin, although leia could think that a foster mother was her real mother. Sinister_Evil
i think she will live through ep3 and die sometime later during the destruction of the jedi order cause thats the only way it makes sence
Cow_JK:O
Leia says 'she died when i was very young'. She saw her mother but only barely, so here mother had to die somewhere around the time she was 2~3 years old (i.e. would consciously remember her)
BlackDove
I hope she doesn't die, however that seems like the only thing that could drive anakin to the dark side. Since they won't make it for the pure lust that he wants to be a tyrannin and a killer, they will do it because of love (and we know how he broke the Jedi rules in the end of the movie by marrying Padme), and of course there is the scene with the mother that drives him towards the dark side. Looks like mother wasn't enough to completly convert him, however Padme will. Obviously having sex with a hot woman would make you do anything. Even turn to the dark side. s0rc3r3r
i think, if she dies in ep3 than luke and laia musst be already born in ep3. Leia says 'she died when i was very young'. She saw her mother but only barely, so here mother had to die somewhere around the time she was 2~3 years old (i.e. would consciously remember her) because i rember this sentence from the return of the jedi

xX-Ender-Xx
Of the choices that you have listed, I would choose Anakin. It would be a proper way to show that he has become evil, with the death of his loved one. It is a proper way to show him going to the darkside, BUT HE wouldnt kill her, that would be really dumb... Her death TURNS him to the dark side, its not like he turns dark, then kills her.
COJ
I think Luke and Leia will bearound 5-6. before that, u can never remember how someone looks like
ET Warrior
Perhaps luke is mad at obi-wan because obi hid his children from him? it is quite possible.....Obi hid them because he should not have had children, and then Obi kicked him from the Jedi order....and anakin was pissed.......and over to the dark-side he goes.... SteveDallas
Padme's death can't be the reason why Anakin turns, although that would make sense. But I don't think so. Here's why. Luke and Leah are born. Anakin doesn't know about Leah, only Luke. Obi-Wan hid them from him. So if Obi-Wan is hiding Anakin's kids from him, he must already have turned by the time they were born. If he's turned by the time they were born, it can't be her death that turns him. Padme also lives a few years after the birth as noted above. Anakin doesn't know about Leah, that's the key. Maybe it will be an attempt on her life that turns him. Maybe the Emperor will put her in harms way to get Anakin to react, much like he reacted when he sensed his mom's troubles. She's a senator and Palpatines a would-be Emperor, maybe Anakin gets mixed up in a political struggle, tries to save his wife's skin and goes to the dark side for her - once there, the Emperor has him. Here's my wild-arse-guess. Padme will be pregnant at the start of EpIII. She'll be fighting against Palpatine's plan. Remember, she was already opposed to it at the start of EpII, that's why she was going to Corasant (sp). She'll be fighting Palpatine and he'll scheme to "nuetralize" her and Anakin will get involved against the wishes of the Jedi Counsel. It will be his fear of losing her that the Emperor plays on to get Anakin to finish his journey to the Dark Side. Then the last scene in the movie will be Obi-Wan taking Luke to hide him from Darth Vader - roll credits. It's too "hollywood" to pass up the scene of a baby Luke Skywalker. OR lol, obviously I have no idea, here's scenario #2 It isn't said that Vader intentionally betrayed the Jedi... maybe the Jedi will resist Palpatine and Anakin will be tricked into betraying the Jedi much like Jar-Jar was tricked into getting Palpatine his emergency power. And when Anakin learns he was tricked, he becomes enraged and goes after Palpatine. Based on Episode VI, Palpatine tried to get Luke to go after him, to complete his journey to the dark side. Maybe Palpatine employs the same tactic with Anakin. Anakin, having learned he helped destroy the Jedi, goes after Palpatine, defeats Dooku, and completes his journey to the Dark Side. OR just kidding...
Gary Hansberry
Padme Skywalker will be spirited away by Obi-Wan to Alderaan with Leia and place under the protection of Viceroy Bail Organa until Tarkin destroys it with the death star, thats when she'll die I reckon
gorganfloss
I'd say Anakin kills her. It would be the perfect way of showin' everyone he's evil. "You are alone. Maybe I can help you. I am Boba Fett.":fett:
Norin Radd
According to the Star Wars site, it says that Obi-Wan took Leia and her mother to Alderaan to hide them from Anakin and the Emperor. He takes Luke to Tatooine to be cared for by his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. I'm thinking Padme dies of. . .heartbreak? Now that I think about it. . ., Obi-Wan took Leia to Alderaan to be raised by the Royal Family. He took Luke to Tatooine to be raised by a moisture farmer and his wife. No wonder Luke is filled with anger for a good part of the first trilogy.

vizor
i think she must die because anakin sayd i will not let that happen a second time when he carried his mother to her bury..... If padme is dying anakin becomes a sith of sidious no other reasons.and padme cant be killed by sidious because than anakina would not be a padawan from sidious .... i see it so: in episode 3 kills: dooku - padme anakin - dooku sidious+anakin - the council at last anakin fights against obi wan and obi push him into the lawa...
