Lord Jxx
I'm sorry. Growing up with the Star Wars Universe (not in the Star Wars Universe), I just expected more. I enjoyed Episode 1, even though loads of people didn't enjoy it. (or at least complained about it.) I thought Episode 1 was the setup for #2, I was hoping for more this time. It leaves me with the "sell-out" thought. Star Wars is the GREATEST MONEY MAKING MACHINE of ALL TIMES! No one, that's honest with themselves, can say this is the movie they wanted to see. Good, sure. Watchable, yes! As good as ESB? Nope, not even close. The biggest problem: Episode 1 2 & 3 will never be truly great, because those movies are completely plot driven. We know how it ends, they have to stay within those constrants. 4 5 & 6 was character driven. He could have done anything (which he did) with the stoyline and we would still care about the characters. EPISODE II: What character do we really care about? Jedi_Monk
No one, that's honest with themselves, can say this is the movie they wanted to see. I am completely honest to say that this was the movie I wanted to see. Episode I wasn't what I expected, but Episode II was incredible. I got to see Jedi in action, I got to see the Jedi Temple, I got to see more intimate aspects of the universe itself that give so much depth (Dex's diner, the cargo ship...), I got to see an epic battle, Yoda in action and Natalie Portman in a leather corset I also got to see Lucas taking some jabs at present-day politicians and the political subplot is more true today than ever before when poeple in Washington are, if not actually using the word, talking about a state very much like martial law. I loved this movie! There are a few things I would've liked to see changed, mostly choppy editing. This is my favorite Star Wars movie yet, and I am in awe of Lucas' genius. As for your poll, I voted Padme Amidala. She's a truely tragic character. She's thrust into a relationship with Anakin Skywalker because she's as much a slave to destiny as he is. She resists as much as possible, but the thing that forces her decision is that she sees him falling. She is there when he talks about destroying the Tusken Raider, can feel his hatred--and she knows that's a very bad thing for a Jedi. He's mutilated, she's confessed she loves him (who knows if she's telling the truth or trying to give his last moments of life meaning?) and when they survive, she has the choice of marrying him and maybe pulling him back from the Dark Side (we know this is vain), or rejecting him and pushing him over the edge. Intricate, genius! This is the top movie on my list.

Sivy
Episode I was fantastic and Episode II was equally as good and a great set-up for Episode III, (just as V was to VI) Ok so Jake Lloyd was a little annoying, but as Lucas said himself there aren’t that many 9 years old thespians who can give Oscar-winning performances. As for Jar-Jar, Episode II shows way he is an important character (if you didn’t get it, I suggest you watch it again) I’ve been a Star Wars fan all my life, they were the first films I ever saw. When I heard they were doing prequels, all I hope for was - To see how Anakin turned into Vader - To see how Palpatine got into power - To see real Jedi action before the Jedi purge I have not been disappointed. I just can’t wait until Episode III. So what if we know what going to happen, that’s the whole ideal of prequels.
MotionMan
I cared about them all:) But I voted for Obi-Wan. He grew on me more in ep.

Ratmjedi
I voted for Anakin because with out him there wouldn't be any Star Wars. He plays a key part in all the movies. Obi-Wan does too but that is because of Anakin. I don't think Jake Lloyd was annoying. Did you see the THM making of on the DVD? It showed the three kids that were to play Anakin. Watch it! Would you of had the other kids play Anakin? The first one was awfull but and the second one was good. But he just looked to much like Mark Hamill. Jake played the part the best and with that innocense that he had to have. Say the Ot was never made ok? The way Jake played the part and the way he acted we would be completly blown away when we would find out what he would become. Do you guys remeber when they were casting for Ep II? There was this big rumor that Leonardo Decaprio was going to play Anakin. Sorry but if that happened I would be dissapointed. Jake Llyod was a good actor and I didn't see anything wrong with his portrayal of Anakin.

I think I had underestimated his powers until now (at least after seeing ep I & II). Anakin was a close second if not 1a. Like RatmJedi said, the whole story of Star Wars revolves around Anakin.
