BlackDove
Of course, if they are ever made Originally written on the Kyle Katarn's Expanded Universe Databank: Deep in the Valley of the Jedi, Kyle confronted Jerec, the very man who had killed Morgan Katarn. The two did battle, and when Kyle slew Jerec, he fulfilled an ancient prophecy. The spirits of long-dead Jedi, trapped in the Valley for a thousand years, were finally freed. Several years later, the Valley of the Jedi became a focal point in the struggle between Kyle Katarn and the Dark Jedi Desann. Long used to operating independently, Katarn at first refused Luke Skywalker's offer to become a Jedi apprentice. Instead, he continued to serve the Alliance, now the New Republic, on many important missions. After a troubling run-in with the dark side on the forgotten Sith world of Dromund Kaas, Katarn conceded that he would benefit from Skywalker's tutelage, and joined the Jedi Master's fledgling Jedi academy. Dark_One
I think JK3 will have something to do with the massassi temple. The old sith lord whomes spirit is trapped inside will be released into the body of a young jedi......
techsurfer
We need some REALLY BAD bad guys in the next installment - Desann was a little lame (even though he is a walking talking dinosar) and too easy to beat! Maybe we could have someone starting up the sith cult again and trying to play on Kyle's dark side which he tries to suppress! That would be really cool! Cal-Wan-Kenobi
I think Dessan is a mental reborn premature dinosaur who stole his lightsaber from his granny on a sunday afternoon. So basically we need a more 'normal' sith lord in JK3 and JK4 , or even make kyle go spasdic and fight Luke he must. BlackDove
Actually they are kind of half right since I do argue 85% of the time here. However I wasn't arguing this particular case. I was asking where he got it from...cuz doesn't say anything like that in the EU (and in my quote also it is pretty obvious that won't happen), however if he did get it from somewhere else I wanted to know. That's all there was to it.
Emon
Uh, that ALREADY HAPPENED. Ever play Jedi Knight or Mysteries of the Sith? That's where that story is from...

I garuntee they won't make another sequel where you play through the story of a book or movie.
BlackDove
I'm gonna need something more then your guarantee...like for instance, how do you know that? And who's Kyp?
Emon
1. You mean my garuntee that that story you posted took place during JK1 and MotS? Well, uh, you could go play the game, for starters and find out... Or do you mean about how I said they wouldn't make a game based off another EU story? Well, they wouldn't because they cannot make their own story, which LEC likes doing for their "effort" games (not BS like the TPM game that's just for money, effort as in good games with effort put into them that make TONS of money), and because they would need permision from the author, and because they just don't do that... 2. Kyp is Kyp Durron, a Jedi from the EU, Luke's Academy.
BlackDove
Oh, no, I didn't mean the thing with Kyp (don't know who that is anyway, but well you told me now). I meant it like, they explained in Kyle Katarns EU story, like about what he did. In this part of the quote; Long used to operating independently, Katarn at first refused Luke Skywalker's offer to become a Jedi apprentice. I thought that this might be JO3, because Luke offered him to be a Jedi apprentace at the end of JK2, but Katarn denied. So this seemed like a logical continuance.
