Redwing Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 Well, we have two Lord of the Rings movies, two Matrix movies, three Harry Potter movies, a Daredevil movie (comics fans will care ), and who knows what else to tide us over till then... Hey, btw, I saw Lilo & Stitch today and I thought it was great. Anyone else see it?

But i suppose I'll see the two movies of LOTR in cinema.
talldudeX Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 Yeah, Harry Potter is more of a little kid thing...but.... *GASP!* Who doesn't like the matrix!?
Cal_da_Darth Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 THE MATRIX IS (in my humble opinion) THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER! ...I think this is why people usually don't ask me...
Redwing Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Originally posted by talldudeX Yeah, Harry Potter is more of a little kid thing...but.... *GASP!* Who doesn't like the matrix!? A heckuva lot you know. The maturity level of the Harry Potter series increases relative to his age, and each book covers one school year. Which makes the first book (11) the most boring, the second one (12) better, and the third (13) and fourth (14) ones the best yet... ...but I still liked the first one. And The Matrix is awesome. Oh, yeah, and Keiran is insane for not liking LotR.
Keiran Halcyon Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Originally posted by Redwing Oh, yeah, and Keiran is insane for not liking LotR. Thats why we are here, aren't us? Well at least i said i was going ot see it in the cinema,it is just that i do not care for it, very much. About the matrix, you are insane about liking it! And come on! AOC beats Matrix and FOTR in the bets movie EVER.
Keiran Halcyon Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Ah, and about the DEATH STAR in EPII, it IS in the Confederation's operations room during all the battle. Its there untill the geonosian leader gives it to Dooku.
Cal_da_Darth Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 That's true about the death star...but your WAY WRONG about the Matrix! We maybe insane...but that's not because we like it!
Rogue Nine Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 In all honesty I liked the third Potter book the best out of all of them so far. It's the only one that doesn't deal directly with Voldemort and it inrtoduces one of the coolest characters ever, Sirius Black.
Cal_da_Darth Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 I'm not into Harry Potter...though I am into a lot of "magic" stuff I suppose. Its mostly games though, like the Final Fantasy series, or any RPG for that matter.

I liked the 3rd and 4th equally...in the 4th one, a *good guy* actually died *gasp* Rumor has it that Ewan McGregor *might* be playing Remus Lupin... I really hope they don't screw up Sirius Black in the movie...he was perfect in the book.
Rogue Nine Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 The Goblet of Fire lacked something, I felt. Nevertheless, it was still classic Rowling. Can't wait to see how she deals with Harry becoming older and feeling those hormones kick in.
Redwing Posted June 25, 2002 Posted June 25, 2002 The only thing that was annoying about it is the fact that depite it's ultra-long length, it was really a "setup" book...

Redwing Posted June 26, 2002 Posted June 26, 2002 How could they do that? ...that post made zero percent sense
