Padawan Andy
I can't be alone on this, not here right? I love collecting the figures. I only buy for the love of Star Wars not for any monitary purpose. What about the rest of you?
DannyJAllTheWay
I did kinda for Episode 1. I'm not doing that anymore though. I got no money for it. How's your collection going?

I'd hurry before it gets harder to find newer figs... <--see that? thats a scalper, he buys the figures and sells them back to you at 5x or 3 x its actual cost because you know...this figure right here has a dot on its back so that means its "rare"
Jedi_Monk
I've got all of the first line of new SW figures from 96/97... most of them I took out of the box... but I still have a mint on-card 96 Luke Skywalker w/ long lightsaber; last time I checked, it was worth $40, and that was a couple years ago. I have maybe a dozen figures on-card from various collections, and three versions of Darth Maul (Jedi Duel, Tatooine and Jedi Duel w/ cloth tunic) all on-card. I got a Padme Amidala (white outfit ) and an Imperial Royal Guard from the AotC line for my birthday, but none of them have so piqued my interest as to make me buy them with my own money... until the Amidala "fireplace scene" figure comes out
GUNNER
I have almost all the E1 figures. About 10 of the E2 figures and about 8 from the original SW from 1977. I also have some great bed sheets, pillow cases and comforter as well from 1977.

DemonKing
I only collect bad guys (imperials/sith/bounty hunters/trade federation etc). I do have a Yoda however - my girfriend gave it to me deliberately because she knows I hate Yoda. It sits nicely hanging out of the maws of my Dewback, however. I have about fifty figures, all of them out of the box. I only buy the first variation of each figure as collecting every version of Darth Vader, for instance, would be ridiculous (and expensive). Besides there is only *one* Darth Vader. I do have lots of stormtroopers, battle droids etc because these usually come in groups. I also have an AT AT, AT ST, Slave I, Tie Fighter, Tie Interceptor, Tie Bomber and Vader's Tie. If I rooted around at my parent's house I could probably find my original collection, but since they are all out of the packet and in poor nick, it wouldn't really be worth my while. Russk Rijann
lol Boba's head. If only you could of warned Jango!!!!!!! I have about....lemme check......8 maybe 9 figures. Yeah I know that sounds pathectic, or maybe having 500 sounds a little more pathetic? Anyhooo I have 1 Qui-Gon from EpsI (duh) with his robes and his green lightsabre (plus you get another lightsaber hilt thats turned off) , 1 Boba Fett which I got about 6 years ago, 1 strange red mandalorian bounty hunter (like Jango a bit only red) that I bought at a car boot sale, 1 Destroyer Droid from EpsI (it doesn't roll up:( ) , 1 Jango Fett Kimono Escape with rocket firing jet pack...hehe (my favourite) and one Obi-wan from EpsII with a magnetic hand that makes his saber fly from the ground to his hand if placed near each other (which is cool for impressing small nephews) . Oh and ive got one of those weird skiffs that battle droids fly, you know the ones with two blaster cannons? They stand up on them? I'll get a pitcure. Pvt_Dancer
I used to LOVE the original figures from back in the day. Now those were toys! I find the new figure series to be sad, badly painted, posed and sculpted shadows of what Star Wars toys should be. If I buy any Star Wars toys nowadays its gotta be the Star Wars Lego line!! No SW toys on the market beat 'em!
