bjorn
here's the deal guys. Bobba Fett is Jango Fett, well genetically speaking anyway. while his upbringing changed him into a different person, Bobba Fett mannaged to excape from Sarlac, and that takes brains. Jango tried to go one-on-one with Mace Windu, and that was just stupid. i mean come on, Windu didn't even flinch this is my sig, because they don't seem to show up on this forum for some reason "www.federationstudios.net Yeah it rocks come and join the winning side of the force"

igor
After reading the Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy I have to vote Boba Fett as the best.
JandoFett1842
Jango Fett used more of his utility than Boba, like the Flame trower and Jetpack missle, but he was stupid and went down in the middle of a bunch of jedi and got a wopen. Boba on the other hand fell into a Sarlacc, but then escaped. Boba doesnt seem to need all the equiment as much, but he still has it. Plus he had more, I dont think that Jango Fett had the knee rockets or the sonic cutter. I like Boba better, because there is more stuff on him. BCanr2d2
If we are going to discuss characters, then at least make it clear what sources you intend people to judge their character from. After all, for well over 3/4's of the Star Wars fans go along with Boba Fett dying in the Sarlacc, rather than some lame brained book where he manages a miraculous escape. Let's get most of these EU books into perspective - many of them make each new light/dark jedi ever so slightly powerful than the last one, making them more powerful than Anakin/Vader and Luke. And the ideas of thigs that make the Force not work, like a ysamilari, or metal created so that Force is contained, is hogwash. It just cheapens the SW universe. After all, these books are made to sell, so that they can get another licence to write more books. They have to sound better than the next authors, etc. Boba is Dead, Deal with it................. JandoFett1842
BULL ****! 3/4th of the Star War Fans do not go along with Boba Dieing. Do they even read EU? Rules!
BCanr2d2
If they don't read EU, then how do they know he supposedly lives? To Joe Public, when they watched ROTJ, they saw Boba Fett die. So why should we discuss his "alleged" exploits post-ROTJ? Sorta ruins your point there! We just seem to have a vocal minority who love to use EU sources to show things like Luke and Vader weren't that strong with the Force, etc. My opinion I make clear in my last post, that much of the EU has to be taken with a grain of salt, especially most of the stuff set post-ROTJ. JandoFett1842
You dont die when you fall into the Sarlacc, you probabliy can live inside for 3 weeks, if you can somehow find watter, becuase you are slowly digested over a thousand years. Boba can get out. only thing damaged in the fall would be his jet pack. (Were does Jando get all of his jetpacks?)
Stryd0r
ok i'm not too interested in the EU...but judging from the films both of them are pretty bad ass. In ep2 boba played his part - he got into the ship and fired the turrets at obi-wan. He made a brief appearance in Ep4, then in Ep5 he was responsible for tracking the falcon to bespin. Ep6 he had quite a good fight with Luke, until he got knocked off. He did scream like a girl, but most people in SW tend to scream like girls when they're falling down something. It is likely that he will come back in Ep3 to get his revenge on Mace. Then there's Jango. Managed to do well vs Obi-wan. And he's less mysterious than his son, takes his helmet off and has a nice chat with Obi-wan. He also managed to kill that padawan who jumped onto the balcony and tried to slice Dooku. His armour is much cleaner, and also he's a good pilot. And he's responsible for the entire clone army!! I think Jango is better slightly.
JandoFett1842
I could have swarn i saw that "Padawan" siting in the Jedi Council?
yoda_alex
Jango managed to survive a head to head with a fully fledged jedi knight. Boba was taken out by a blind smuggler. I rest my case. btw, according to the canon, there is no record of Boba getting out of the sarlacc. I thing GL assumed that people would think he died in RotJ, in fact, he probably wanted people to thing that the man responsible for han being carbon frozen met a horrible demise. Volkam
Boba of course! 1st of all i think Boba is stronger then jango, he gots more personalaty. 2nd Boba Didnt died on that pit he is still alive and he cant fell the pain and jango died in a pathetic way... he lossed his head. 3rd Boba fett as a bonty hunter sucessed capturing Han Solo Jango Failed and quited of killing the senator. Boba Fett can be the clone of Jango Fett but they arent the same persone. Action and situations in live makes a person not genetic things. Jango will be forever Boba Fetts... :fett:Volkam:Jango:
DarthBuu
JANGO OWNZ MAJOR SPOILER!!!! ******************************************** yoda is the flipper... yoda_alex
1. The last thing we see of Boba is him falling into the sarlacc pit - we are meant to assume he died there. 2. I assume that when you say "Boba captured Han Solo", I assume you mean "Boba followed Han Solo and then called for backup"
Divine Spirit
whats the definition of the term 'better'? do u mean more powerful? better personality? better costume or what? if you mean more powerful then its obviously Boba. Boba was trained from a very young age, unlike Jango. Boba was taught by someone who knew a lot about fighting (Jango) whereas Jango had to teach himself. even in Attack of the Clones i think t is Jango who mentions something about Boba becoming more powerful than himself because of Boba's training Divine Spirit
Dath Maximus
What i want to know is what the hell is a jango? and a boba for that matter. Maybe we should call them Bob Fett and... and... what the heck should we call Jango??
Stryd0r
Jango Fett is cooler. Who cares about who's more powerful. And also, boba may have tracked down Han, but he also was killed by him (i dont care about what it says in the EU). It seems like Jango and Boba had the same teacher then - they were both taught by Jango hmm hmm? As for this "padawan", I was referring to him not by his rank but his bad jediness. If he was a good jedi, then he would have saw Jango's shots coming, and deflected them. No he didn't, therefore he is a PADAWAN. I never saw him on the jedi council either. What the hell is a Jango? Maybe you should think more about what the hell a Luke is? Or Han or Anakin etc. They're names, names you call people. End of Story.
