How do I bind a key for a phrase?

Hi,

 

Does anyone have the script to bind a key to say a phrase! Plus change the colour of the phrase. I already know the +taunt and change name colour.

 

Your help would be appreciated.

i dont think that will work, you need to use the "say" cmd.

 

/bind [key] "say [phrase]"

 

will work. change the colour of the text in the same way as you would with your name. i also think you can type in all purple text by binding a key to "messagemode4" (eg /bind u "messagemode4"), which allows you to press the key, type a message, and it will appear purple instead of the standard green.

me i have:

bind / say The force is strong in this one...but is it strong enough?

bind ' say Don't attack, my saber is off!

bind ALT say brb, i'm alt tabbing out for a second, probably just to check on something and won't be very long

 

and one more about backstab because so many people ask how to use it

 

...i'd bind a key to advertise my clan.....but i need to find an empty key first;)

how do you bind moves to a key. i know its cheap but its the only way a noob like me can beat another binder
