anshao Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 I can't find out the name of that music you listen in star wars' movies, like when, in ep IV, Luke is looking at the dawn on a cliff in front of his uncle's house, and that you can listen to everytime there's something about jedis. I hope you can tell my its name,I'm disperate!
The Daywalker Posted June 11, 2002 Posted June 11, 2002 I believe that it's considered "Obi-Wan's Theme" or "Force Theme". At least that's the way I remember it from my soundtrack label.
Rogue Nine Posted June 11, 2002 Posted June 11, 2002 Grab yourself the soundtracks for the Original Trilogy. John Williams at his best. w00t.
anshao Posted June 11, 2002 Author Posted June 11, 2002 I searched for the cds, but where I live there aren't trace! I Like a lot that music, but I couldn't find it under "star wars": that's why I need the exact name! Thnaks for your support
Pseudonym Posted June 11, 2002 Posted June 11, 2002 I'm sure Bestbuy has the CD. Or you can go to Amazon.com search for the soundtrack, copy all the names, d/l them from KaZaA and see which one is the one you were looking for. I'm pretty sure you want Binary sunset though.
Boba Rhett Posted June 11, 2002 Posted June 11, 2002 Yes, my brother had the same problem. I'm almost 100% sure that Binary Sunset is what your talking about.
anshao Posted June 11, 2002 Author Posted June 11, 2002 Thanks to all, now I'll try and see if I can find it!
anshao Posted June 11, 2002 Author Posted June 11, 2002 Uff, I found binary sunset, but it's not that!!! The music I'm looking for is another one, you hear it a lot of time in every star wars film, usually when there's something about jedi. I hope this could help: in JO II you can hear a mixed version of it in the final duel with Dessan; that music is the same of the last duel between Luke and Vader, and during that song there's some piece of the song I'm looking for... I don't know how to make you understand, sorry...
anshao Posted June 11, 2002 Author Posted June 11, 2002 I got it! It's the music you hear in Jo II when you go to Yavin, in the jedi temple and met Luke for the first time; for all the time you hear that music...hope you know the title...
XERXES Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=611463#post611463 look on there...plenty of awesome music to check out...btw while your at it...download "achilles last stand" by Led Zeppelin...
Darth Nader Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 one of my favorite bits of music is that which plays when Old Ben and Luke reach the cliff overlooking Mos Eisley spaceport. the same music plays in the original JK when Kyle and Jan are looking through the electrobinocs at the city called...? i think it's level 5
anshao Posted June 14, 2002 Author Posted June 14, 2002 Men, I really apreciate your suggestions but...ehm...I was looking for a certain music, wich is that you listen to in yavin 4 when first met with Luke (in Jedi Outcast, of course). I need the title of that song, since I can't find it anywhere! Hope you could be of some help...
The Truthful Liar Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 You could just find that song in your pk3.
Lord_FinnSon Posted June 14, 2002 Posted June 14, 2002 I believe you are basically refering to the Force theme, anshao. It was originally known as Ben's Theme when ANH came out, but then widened out to be a theme for the Force and can now be heard whenever the Force is involved somehow and especially when there's Jedis on the screen. However, it's never played exactly same way, so it can be heard here and there in every single episode. I listened MP3's from JK2 and the Force theme was repeated many times during those ones meant for Yavin 4, but I'm not sure which one of them is heard during conversation of Kyle and Luke. You can however listen them by yourself opening up assets0.pk3 from the GameData/base with WinZip and finding there music path.
anshao Posted June 15, 2002 Author Posted June 15, 2002 Thanks a lot for your help, finally I know more about that beautiful music.Let's not waste more time, I'm going to work!
