WOW!!!!!! I HAVE THE BEST IDEA YET FOR THE X-PAC!!!!!!!

Okay here goes:

put a shipyard in there for each side. The shipyard makes Capitol Ships(they can only go around in space not over land) You would have to build the shipyards on the Edge of the land/Space (like Docks) The Capitol ships would be able to guard the space area like no Star Fughter can do. You could even make Space Scenarios...A few small Islands of land where the bases would be and you could build up your capitol ship fleet. Your shipyards would become avalaible in the 3rd Tech level.

This would please alot of fans that wanted Capitol Ships!!!!

I don't know if I would be so harsh to say that i could come up w/ a better one in my sleep, but i don't like it just b/c the capitol ships would be TOO awesome. If they were in the game, they would have to cost A LOT and be available only in space. As far as the x-pak goes: i just want to see at least four new civs, including the Trandos, the ability to have veteran units, and bonuses for more civs.

Nice idea but I'm glad they didn't, and hopefully won't add capital ships. They would be WAY too powerful and if they didn't make them real powerful it would be stupid. IMO they just wouldn't work. Capital ships would be able to level entire bases, to keep it "realistic", and that would be too powerful :( Besides what capital ship would the Naboo/Gungans have? None because they don't have capital ships or they would have defened themselves against the TF.

That was a great idea, I just don't agree with it :)

nope, we've already had this disscussion, and my opinion hasn't changed. I still think no matter what you do it wouldn't work, and it would ultimately be stupid. The only way they could ever put capitol ships in the game would be for an "orbital bombardment" superweapon.

I still like the idea, but i'm afraid as everyone pointed out, it would be too unbalancing. The only way I think that this might happen is as a mod for the game. But that would be fine for having fun! However i doubt it would be acceptable in many online multiplayer games. :D

The would be the BOATS for Space!!!!!

How would that unbalance the game in any way!!!???

Why would you need orbital Bombardment??? You don't think other civs would have their fleets out there???

It would be exactly like sea battle but with the Ships everyone likes!!! I would love to see trade being blocked off by the TF. Or the Rebels busting an Imperial Blockade with their Mon Cals.

Didn't say it was unbalancing, though the gungans don't have capitols. They would be too big for a reduced space. Besides, what can any capitol do vs. The Chimaera or The Executor?

They made the At-Ats smaller didn't they. This isn't about scale. The boats in the water look like they couldn't hold a single trooper. The TF transports look like they would be hard pressed to hold even one battle droid. Scale doesn't exactly matter here. As for your question...I don't get it. What do you mean?

the naboo don't have capitol ships either. And what would the gungans have, giant whales that can survive in vaccuum and have ultra powerfull weapons. The thing is, i wouldn't want to play a capitol ship that was really weak, as wea as a ship would be. Think about it, turbolasers are many, many times more powerfull than snubfighter lasers, and what do you think a gungan energy ball would do to a Star Destroyer?

Actually that idea would work, All you have to do is make the Naboo and Gungans space wise weak. In otherwords maybe there would be three kinds of ships per civ, Gungans and Naboo would have various forms of light cruisers.

The three kinda of ships would be for Imperials,

Victory Class, 5 Tie fighters, 2 AT AT's or AT ST's, 10 Stormies(Missile Launchers.)

Costs 200 of two kinds of resouces.

Imperial Star Destroyer, Carries 10 Ties and bombers, 5 AT AT's or AT ST's and 20 Troopers

(Turbo Lasers.)

Costs 500 of two kinds of resouces.

Super Star Destroyer 15 Ties and bombers, 10 AT AT's or AT ST's, 30 Troopers

(Turbo lasers and Missile launchers.)

Costs 1000 of two certain resouces.

And other ships would be similar.

Gungans and Naboo Cap's would be smaller and weaker, but would carry the same amount.

With this you have a WHOLE NEW layer to the game. It would be nealy as easly to cross space as it was. Now you would have to have cruisers escorting you there.:)

If you want Capital ships make your own game! There is NO way that they would fit in the game! They are too big, too powerful, and what would the Naboo and Gungans have? Not to mention, that new civs are the basis of x-paks especially the Trandos! :bossk:

The Idea is cool but it wouldnt workout to good. I think they just need to make a whole new stategy game set in space only, Like a Rebellion 2 or something.
