GUNNER
After what seemed like months, well it was at least 3 months, I got it all together and running over the weekend. It's a 1.6A on an Asus p4s333 board with 512mg of Mushkin DDR2700. I got a 80G 7200 rpm WD HDD. An augigy gamer sound card and Leadtek GF3 Ti200. And a Sony 52X CD. I bought a Cheiftec casr and installed a window and 120 fan and red cold cathode tube. Then added a fanbus to run my fans at 7V or 12V. Cuts down on noise greatly. I got my chip running at 2.1mgz and on madonions.com 3dmarks benchmark testI got 7977 with my video card at 245/470. I'm going to try a fsb of 140 this week. GUNNER
Hey fanbill. How are ya? Yep, it runs like a champ. Now to jet JKII loaded on it. And see if I can't run it with full graphics on.
Wacky_Baccy
Wow - I thought you had it up and running ages ago! Nice setup, though - especially the red cathode tube *reminds himself to get around to adding a blue one one of these days*
GUNNER
It took forever to find time to get it together and I spent a bunch of time trying to hide all the wires and what not behind the mobo tray so it would loook nice. I also scored some of the silver braided drive cables. I then spent some time trying to find W2K. noone had it not even the Microsoft store so I had to load XP but since it only cost $20 brand new I guess I can't complain. GUNNER
XP Pro. $20 for the upgrade and $30 for the whole thing. We have friends that work at Microsoft. It's about 30 minutes from the house. We got 4 copies. I asked our friend to get us W2k instead but they didn't have them at the company store. You can still get it though but the cheapest I saw it was $

GUNNER
With some more video card tweaks I got it to go to 8184. These Leadtek cards are sweet. I had it at 255/490.
